Wrestlemania has had some awesome and lackluster main events at WM. I think if Austin would have faced Taker during the ministry gimmick, Taker wouldn't be undeafted today. If Shawn wouldn't have gotten hurt those 4 yrs we may have seen Shawn vs Rock. Also if Macho Man had come back with the nwo, I think a Rock vs Savage (instead of Hogan) would have been classic as well.

If the WWF wasn't stupid back in 2002, they could've done Kurt/Perfect at X8.

Everyone wants to see Hogan vs. The Rock, not Savage vs. the Rock.
All the other ideas are cool though.

WM 8 Hogan Vs Flair
Thats the biggest missed chance I think WWE ever had.

This year: Edge vs. Orton. MITB III was awesome, but there was so much tension, Edge's WM record wouldn't have been tarnished, and did they really need 8 men in the Bank match?

WM 8 Hogan Vs Flair Thats the biggest missed chance I think WWE ever had. I have to agree. Both Hogan and Flair said that in their books.

Hogan vs Flair at 8, Triple H vs Cena at 23, Hogan vs Zeus at 6, and HBK vs Hart at 13 were all supposed to happen.
Personally, the only one I really think we should've seen was Hogan vs Flair. Hey, Taker vs Sid, Macho Man vs Jake Roberts, and Flair vs Hogan would've been one hell of a card back in 1992.

I still don't know why they didn't go ahead with Hogan/Austin at WMX8. Until the NWO came to the WWE, I never heard anyone say they wanted to see Hogan/Rock. Throughout the Monday Night Wars, the dream match was always Austin/Hogan (and Austin/Goldberg for a while after his WCW debut).
And while not a WM match, it's a damn shame we never got to see the Austin/Rock/Triple H match that was booked for Survivor Series '99.

WM 8 Hogan Vs Flair Thats the biggest missed chance I think WWE ever had. I honestly think that that main event could have been bigger then Hogan vs Andre....It was the 2 biggest names for well over 10+ years and Sid Justice had to ruin it!!

I wanted Kurt/Orton, which orginally was planned, to what at WM 22. Rey didnt belongi n the match and it would have been alot better. Also I would have been all for Goldust vs Flair at Mania XIX, with Goldust just as Dustin Rhodes. Would have had an NWA feel to it.

Hulk Hogan V Ric Flair without a doubt. Would have been one of the biggest Matches in history.
Could also of had Kurt Angle V Mr Perfect at Wrestlemania 18.

I've said this for years...
WWE messed up big time by having Kurt Angle vs Kane at WMX8. They easily could have had Nash vs Kane, and Angle vs Perfect.

I think, to a degree, much like Ladder or TLC matches... Undertaker vs Mankind II in the HIAC would deliver some Wrestlemania moments. But really foley gave enough in his sole HIAC appearance. I personally feel WWE dropped the ball when they could have had Shawn Michaels vs The Rock at WM XX. I mean, Triple H was World Champion, Shawn Michaels could have easily been paired up with The Rock, and well... that never happened. It's really hard to call, but I think the fact Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero, never faced eachother at Wrestlemania 21 is a damn shame. It'd have been a great match, as both stood in the ring as friends the year prior, now opponents the following year.

I thought that DDP/Rock would have been an amazing match.

If HBk wasn't such an egomaniac back in the day, the main event would've been him vs Bret Hart in a ladder match at wm 13. That would've been awesome. But there's one problem... Bret Hart would've gone over and that didn't sit well with HBK. I really think Shawn was at fault with the whole Montreal incident.

Triple H vs. Chavo at 22.
..no but really..umm..
I'd say Benoit/Brock at WMXX. Even though the triple threat match was awesome, I think they could have put on a better match at the grandest stage of them all. But nope..they had Benoit jump to Raw and go after a belt with little value.

Supposedly The Rock refuses to work with HBK, because Michaels held him back in his early days.

Hogan vs Piper at WM1 would have been better.
