this crap is getting out of control and it needs to stop now and it can only be stopped it mattel becomes aware of it and does something about their packages.

If that was a CSDA DDP, I would have still gotten it.

mattel needs to change the packaging. It's impossible to stop but it's too easy right now.

Mattel does really need to change their packaging so this will stop. They need to make sure that you can't put it back together.
HFL is coming

from what i see most of these repacks are jakks, wonder if jakks is the one doing it trying to get rid of their old stock haha! Now as for a defining moments DDP I would only buy a DDP DM if it was him from The Devils Rejects movie other than that I cant really see to many DM to make from his career!

HFL is comingBut then what about legitimate returns like if a figure was broken or had an error? Exactly, you would be screwed. And making the packaging all weird shaped, it would mess up the real figure's joints, which also means you are screwed. I rather let a couple of aholes do this then get broken figures that you can't exchange for the rest of the mattel line.

Clam shell packaging, like McFarlane toys, might slow this down. But that's more expensive. Seal the boxes like DVDs and videogames?

Look I can understand if these Re-Packers are putting their Jakks Counterparts in their place
Christian for Christan, Taker for Taker, etc
but i have no idea how they get away with say Bam Bam in an Ultimate warrior box, or even that one box that had the Miz, was Blackened out by a marker, and looked like it was opened.
problem is. with the exeption of Target, Walmart and Kmart have a no ask policy. so as long as they have people working $6.00 an hour being tormented by a crappy job, they are not going to care if rey mysterio is in a Akeem box.
THE Reason i left target off that list, I was actually in the returns line returning a faulty copy of The Town on Blu Ray, when i actually Witnessed a guy trying to return a Chris Masters Baisc 8 and Kane from Elite with Towel on head and chains, I was next in line and I actually didnt have to get involved at all. when he tried to return them, She called back to someone in toys, they came up two minutes later and inspected then boxes. turns out that it was the Jakks Masters and Basic 2 Kane in the Boxes. with no accessories in the elite box. the employee from the target toy dept told him, that he could not return them, because they were the wrong figures. the guy complained saying he bought them both like that. so the guy looked at the recepit. noticed the guy only bought them twenty minutes earlier from a diffrent target. and then checked the stock, which was the Basic 8 was never in his store yet, so he called over to the store that he bought them at, and found out that Basic 8 was just put out in the morning. so nobody could have returned it yet. the employee then got their security involved, and they said if he didnt leave the store, the police were going to get inovolved. and if the figures were really originally opened, he would have to return them there. the guy left. so i started to talk to the employee who happend to be a collector of WWE figures. and said it happends at least twice a week, one guy was already questioned by the police for fraud returns, and was cited and told he was not allowed to enter that target anymore. the other, he said he hasnt seen, and he never seen this guy before.
about a week later, i came back and saw him putting out star wars figures, and i struck up a convo with him, turns out that guy went back to his original store where he bought them, and was cited by police there, cause when the guy called over, then already knew his sceme. But he said it happens at targets all over. and the only reason this guy got caught is because of him. being a collector and all.
thought it was a cool story

All I have to say is, when I saw this topic I really got scared that Mattel was doing a DDP DM in a future series. Phew...
