From Fighters Only Magazine: Bisping takes a shot at Sonnen; war of words imminent It had to happen, it was just a question of who would be first to pull the trigger. Michael Bisping stepped up to the plate. Commenting on a picture of Chael Sonnen posted on The Underground forum today  Bisping mocked the American’s recent California State Athletic Commission hearing. Sonnen told the hearing he was using hormone replacement for his UFC 117 fight with Anderson Silva because he has under-developed testicles. “I think Jail just saw Jake Shields in the shower and cant take how large his balls were in relation to his,” Bisping commented underneath the photo, which shows Sonnen next to Shields looking a little cross. Now, one line of comment on its own isn’t usually anything significant enough to warrant an article of its own. But in this case it is, because it is almost certainly going to draw a response from Sonnen and turn into a full-blown war of words. That would make a fight between the pair of them almost a lock. The trash-talk would sell the bout without the UFC lifting a finger, but would also parlay nicely into a Countdown special for the pay per view that would host it. Another alternative would be having the two as rival coaches on TUF. The Bisping/Henderson season did good numbers, Sonnen/Bisping has the potential to be stratospheric. Bisping has already said he wants a fight with Sonnen to be his next Octagon outing. He is desperate to get a shot at the middleweight title and sees a win over Sonnen as the perfect springboard. Sonnen gave current champion Anderson Silva his hardest UFC fight yet before suddenly being submitted in the latter half of the fifth round.  |

He is arrogant and idiotic and half the time he can't back it up in his fights. He had a lackluster performance against Akiyama back in November, and came back last month to show us once again why we hate him. And I don't see how people can call Sonnen's gnp "effective" considering he lightly grazes his opponent's face for 15 minutes, praying he doesn't get put in a submission. NOW, PLEASE DON'T HATE ON ME FOR THE COMMENTS. This is only my opinion, and half of it is a joke. |

Sonnen "pounded" on Silva for almost 25 minutes straight and Anderson barely had a mark on him afterwards - Sonnen's strikes couldn't even break the skin. The 'P' in Sonnen's G 'n' P, stands for pillows. I think Bisping will be just fine. Hate both guys, but them as coaches on TUF would be unbelievably entertaining same here I hate that big mouthed Bisping. Bisping is clearly not as cleaver as Chael. A dick/balls joke is really scraping the bottom of the barrel, but it will be interesting if more will come from either guy.

Bisping is clearly not as cleaver as Chael. A dick/balls joke is really scraping the bottom of the barrel, but it will be interesting if more will come from either guy. "Jail" Sonnen? As far as I can tell, he's the first to come up with that. But overall, I would have to agree with you. |

The beauty is going to be, Chael is entertaining, I personally like him, I don't think he's even a dick he just says it as it is, and in my eyes 9/10 he's bloody right about it. One of my favorite fighters. In fact I'll be supporting Chael over Bisping, I prefer him, what's good though is that Bisping is going to get wound the up and explode. Come fight time with this, the reality of it is Chael will win, he'll take him down and ground and pound. Chael always seems to dominate his fights win or loose from what I see, I think Bisping is going to get run through. As much as I do like him. |

Bisping has reasonable takedown defence and ground game, and Sonnen's pillow hands won't do much damage anyway. |
