That's my DM HHH. Got him and Dragon yesterday. Hair line the same or different? It looks like yours and RKOwned's are set farther back showing more forehead than mine. You can see in this pic that he only has half an ear so the hair should have been set farther back to cover the missing part of the ear. .

I think mattel was trying to capture HHH wet hair. His hair was soaked when he came out. That's why the hair is the way it is. It's different. I'm not in love with it. But I like it. I love HHH. Prob my fav of all time. I freaked when he came back at the garden. Was there live. Unreal!!

I got my elite 9 today, and Orton's right shoulder tattoo being off center really bothers me. It looks pretty bad any way you look at it. It's a shame, because I really love the tights and the newer scan.

The eyes are too far apart, which is what makes the face look off. Add the hair issues and a figure I was kind of looking forward to getting is now looking like a probably not.
Basic 10 head would look better on this and seems to me is a re-make or attempt to remake the R3 head, which is perfect for this era Triple H. So if ordering online, turns it into an over 40 dollar project to fix a figure that shouldn't need it.
Bummed to say, no sale.

Thanks guys I think mattel was trying to capture HHH wet hair. His hair was soaked when he came out. That's why the hair is the way it is. It's different. I'm not in love with it. But I like it. I love HHH. Prob my fav of all time. I freaked when he came back at the garden. Was there live. Unreal!! Yes I think they were trying to capture wet hair. Which I think they did. And it looks correct with yours & RKOwned's. But on mine because the hair piece is set slightly off he sort of has the puffy hair that Vince used to have (like the wig HHH wore when making fun of Vince) Niko here's a pic of the shirt and jacket on my custom HHH with R3 head - of course if you are displaying it with the clothes on you wouldn't even need to repaint the head like I had to for my custom.

Love your photos....still the best on the board-Love the figs too except the the DM HHH-it has got to be the absolute worst scan and without a doubt the tackiest outfit Mattel has produced to date.
I love Mattel and feel that only in a few, short months-they have surpassed what Jakks was able to do with the WWE line......but this HHH DM fig is just awful.....if you take off the cheap, blue polyster jeans and do a head switch-like you did, the fig looks great.
Love the Elite 8...once again, your photos encourage me to buy a couple of figs that I normally wouldn't.
-Peace out, -Wagdaddy

Excellent pictures and pickups. I seriously am chomping at the bit to get the Elite Sheamus, that is an absolute awesome figure.
I just can't get into the DM HHH, the scan looks off to me and the pants are just weird. I think it's because theres no belt, pockets or actual detail on them. I understand what Mattel was trying to do (make it so you could use the figure in wrestling gear) I just don't think it was executed well.

Great pics as always PJ! I got my Elite 8 yesterday also and am very pleased with the set too. I know Drew is like 6'4 but I think they made his figure a tad bit tall, he's nearly the size of Kane now. And the Sheamus Elite Scan destroys the basic scan.

I understand what Mattel was trying to do (make it so you could use the figure in wrestling gear) I just don't think it was executed well. I think the scan is great. It's probably the most animated expression they've made to date. And by that I don't mean cartoony...but full of emotion. There is a belt, but no belt loops or pockets. Here's what I plan on doing with my street clothes - I put them on an extra Elite 2 HHH body with R3 head. I'm not repainting this one, because with the naked eye it just looks like the neck is darker because of the shadows. I removed his knee pads and made the pants tighter. (I just need my wife to sew them) and the black lines will be were I'll add pocket details. still I do just wish they used the molded jeans of the DM4 Austin.

I think both the new Sheamus and Taker scans blow their old ones away. Orton's new scan is amazing as well. It's also funny how like with the Cody Rhodes scans McIntyre's figure went from brown eyes to blue. And now that the hair is in the correct position I really like Triple H's as well. I still like Basic Series 10 more I think, but this one is very close.

I think I like the basic Sheamus more and I usually never like the basics.
