Except that finish was such horsehit, it's pretty easy to forget he technically won. I kinda think it was the only way to go, I mean everyone knows Lawler won and deserved the win but this way it doesn't completely kill Cole and he can go on being Cole. And to the people adding the Sheamus/Bryan match to the card and making matches longer, where are you getting this time from? They ended with a minute left there was no time for that stuff. Remove the bullshit. Rock's (let's have some fun?!?) shite at the start, the stupid mae young thing backstage, that'd fit a good match in with them 2 gone. |

First of all, I wouldn't start with a freaking world title match! Also, for those of you mad that they didn't have time for Bryan V.S Sheamus, I'm kinda glad they didn't have that match. My reason being, then HHH V.S Taker probably would have been shorter, and it was the best match of the night. I, like many, also didn't like the end of the main event. The match itself was good, it just ended pretty stupid. I don't really know how I would change it, just make it more interesting. Something else that would have been cool, would be to reveal the Raw G.M.
To me, this was probably the worst WM in years. I was very excited about watching it, because last year I took a year off of wrestling and didn't watch Wrestlemania, so I was glad to be watching it again but I was very let down.
The final thing I would have done would be to simply make The Hall of Fame Show the night before like it used to be, cause then you get to see all the wrestlers and everyone and be really excited for the next night.

I really found that some stuff that should have been given long treatment got cut short while somestuff that should have been kept real short dragged on way too long.
For example, Lawler v. Cole. I wanted to see this match and I'm happy it took place, but it dragged on FOREEEEEVERRR. That whole thing should have taken a third of the time it did. Have cool cheat a little, but then have Lawler quickly turn it around and squash him. Michael Cole trying to do offense was awful and slow.
Miz/Cena could have had a more substantial match if they cut short the entrances and shorted some other matches. There is potential for a good match, but it had no time to happen.
Thats all I'd change

theres so many things I can't even think, I enjoyed the show don't get me wrong, but there were many many things wrong with it, the match order was strange, having Bryan/Sheamus scrapped was heartbreaking, having the Corre lose so easily was painful to watch, not to mention seeing Punk lose as well, the Cole/Lawler stuff went on way too long, it could have been quick and fun but it dragged a bit like last years McMahon/Hart match if you ask me. I also felt The Rock's opening was too long and focused too much on him as opposed to some of the matches and feuds on card which could have benefited from having the Rock show interest in it.
The Rock at the end was predictable, but okay, the crowd was clearly exhausted and it took a little away because of that. I wish the last shot would have been of Miz holding the WWE title and not the Rock though

I would have:
1. Added a MITB match.
2. Not scrapped the Sheamus/Daniel Bryan match.
3. Not opened the show with Del Rio/Edge (I thought Del Rio was supposed to "main event"?)

Would've never had both title matches play out like they did...
Woud've had an entirely different lineup. And if THEY needed Miz in the title shot, I would've had him taking on Morrison and that coming on earlier w/ either ADR v. Christian(an addition of mine) v. Edge or Triple H/UTaker ending the show.....
And lemme get this straight.. you have The Rock in the house. Austin in the house. It's Wrestlemania. Ummm.... a quick staredown in the back is all we get? Are you f'n kidding me? An in-ring moment could've been great.

Have Sheamus/Bryan match.
Lose mixed tag, Snooki, i mean who the hell is she!?
Lose the 8 man tag match.
Have Slater & Gabriel vs Kane & Show for Tag Titles.
Have Barrett vs Someone for Intercontinetal Title.
Lose alot of segements so those matches can happen....no Snoop needed, cut short the Cole/Lawler match.
I think thats it.....for now!!!

Bryan v. Sheamus would have been the opener. (thus actually on the TV card)
Punk wins.
8 man tag would have been longer, and elimination style with Zeke getting the final pin on Big Show.
Other than that, I was overall satisfied.

All my favorites would have won in decisive fashion. Then the show wouldn't have been the worst event ever held on American soil.  this company. I'm never watching WWE again. Except for Raw tomorrow. And MAYBE Tough Enough. And if i watch those two might as well watch Smackdown. But WWE's still the worst. And I hate them. And they made me cry. Thank You for saying this.  Well, I would of liked Del Rio to of won but there will be other WrestleMania’s for him, that’s what people need to remember. As for changes, maybe have the Del Rio/Edge a 3-Way with Brodus Clay…. ….. Yup. Nope, with Christian. (But Del Rio still winning) |

- Del Rio wins the title
- Shorter opening Rock promo
- Sheamus/Bryan actually being on the show
- Eight-Man Tag Team Match getting more than 90 seconds
- Shorter Cole/Lawler match
- Less aftermath/build up to Taker/HHH
- No restart in the main event, Rock just costs Cena the match
And that's about it.

Bryan vs Sheamus should have started the show.
I'd have cut the Rock's opening promo. It was drawn out and unnecessary.
And the Lawler & Cole match would have been a 4 minute beat down. Followed by a Stunner for Swagger. And of coarse a beer bash with Lawler & Austin.
And I'd have ended with Triple H & Taker. The match was climatic, and would have ending the show perfectly.
Besides those things I thought the show was pretty good.

I would have opened the show with Rock coming out as he did, but only giving him 5 minutes as opposed to the 15-20 he did take. Have him say 'Finally... The Rock has come back to Wrestlemania' and announce that we haven't seen the end of him for tonight, rest assured.
The Corre def. Big Show and Crew (7 minutes)
Cody Rhodes def. Rey Mysterio (12 minutes)
Sheamus def. Daniel Bryan (15 minutes)
Orton def. Punk (16 minutes)
Cole and Lawler I would have booked exactly the same, with Lawler getting the win and the decision reversed. Thus, Cole can brag about how he beat Lawler yet we all got to witness Lawler kick Cole's ass. (9 minutes including beer bash and GM announcement)
Ziggler/Laycool def. Snooki/Trish/Morrison (6 minutes)
Edge def. Alberto Del Rio (22 minutes)
Undertaker def. Triple H (31 minutes)
The Miz def. Cena & The Rock. (35 minutes) - Yes, I would have added Rocky to the match before hand. That could have been a huge surprise and the fans would genuinely have expected him to win. A clean victory for Miz in this predicament will allow Rock to leave again if that is indeed what he will do and it would have gave Miz huge credibility as champion.
This would have a run-time of approx. 160 minutes leaving a good hour for entrances and other segments as well as their promo videos.

Would've made Cena vs. Rock the main event. WWE Title match would have been Punk vs. Orton vs. Miz vs. Morrison. I also would've had a MITB replace the 8-man tag match, which was a complete waste, and cut down the time of Cole and Lawler's match significantly.
