WCW Halloween Havoc 1998....Why did Warrior job to Hogan? I mean, seeing the way Warrior is now-a-days I just can't figure out how WCW convinced him to loose in such a pathetic way to Hogan. They didnt even give him a rematch. Go to YouTube and see it for yourself...easily the worst match of both of thier careers...WCW could of made this the most Epic match in history, they f*cked up big time. ![:-/](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/undecided.gif)

I dont really think it was WCW's fault for the match sucking...
...I think it had more to do with Hogan and Warrior sucking.

If i was a wrestler i would lay down for anybody for the right amount of money...As crazy as Warrior is....hes not a moron. Plus the thing at the time was that Hulk has beaten everyone he's faced Except Warrior (only match a WM6) and apparently Roddy Piper

Both guys were long past their prime by that point and WCW could never hype that match like WWF did (circa 1990). Just the hype of that Wrestlemania 6 match alone had people talking about which person was siding with who. As much as I dispise the Warrior nowadays, he generated alot of revenue and sold alot of merchandise for the WWF at around that time. Looking back in hindsight, there was probably a good reason why McMahon felt that a rematch wasn;t in the cards...

During Hogan's WCW run, there were rumors every other month for years that Hogan was trying to get Yoko to come to WCW because it bothered him that he never "got his win back" for doing that job. (And now, he never will!) On the subject of Hogan-Warrior II, I've seen that match many times and it's clear that both guys just didn't perform well, particularly Hogan when he botched the fireball spot. They basically had to improvise when that didn't work. The other thing is that WCW took the goofy supernatural storylines way over the edge in promoting the match, with Warrior showing up in the mirror, and appearing with all these theatrics. Stuff that probably sounded good on paper, but came across really goofy in the end.

Yeah, not a very good match at all. The fireball spot was horrible aswell.
Didn't Hogan pin Yoko for the title at 'Mania 9?

^ Yes, Hogan did pin Yoko at 'Mania IX for the belt but then Yoko turned around and beat him right back at King of the Ring '93. Hogan never got revenge for that loss and never will now.
However, back on topic here. The Warrior/Hogan 2 match was an abomination to wrestling and wrestling fans around the world. I just wish I could forget about that train-wreck of a match.

I watched The Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior DVD yesterday and remembered how bad the match actually was.
Hogan's "knock the ref down" spot wasterrible. He almost tripped over the Warrior and just stumbled to the referee and kinda shoved him down instead of knocking him.
And Hogan's botched fire trick. Ouch.
