He doesn't look weird, he looks natural. He seemed to be taking time off the juice for his debut with the WWF. His face looks better too. Last night on RAW, he was nose to nose with Regal, and HHH just looked old and unhealthy. Both men are in their late 30's and Regal looked much better. The steroids, the tanning, the stress, and everything else has aged him considerably in the last 12 years.

I was there for his live Raw debut shortly after this video (which was his actual TV debut for the WWF). That was when they shot three episodes of Raw in one night starting at 8 p.m., and went live on TV for the second hour of the taping -- which HHH was on.
They introduced him to the audience and maybe one out of eight fans actually recognized him from WCW, but nobody seemed to care at all. He entered the ring prancing around like a snob to that god-awful music... and then Raw went to a commercial. Instead of stopping the music, they KEPT IT PLAYING and Triple H was forced to continue prancing around th ring for the entire 4 minutes.
If the crowd didn't care about him at first, they totally hated him by the time the music stopped and he wrestled John Crystal.

I think you'll find its a French accent, not British. Either way it sounds ridiculous.

And if you read the WrestleCrap Book of Lists, you would know that Hunter's initial gimmick was based on neighbors of Vince McMahon in Connecticut. When Vince moved to CT, his neighbors at the time were very rich and snobbish and looked down upon his business (pro wrestling, obviously, which is considered blue-collar entertainment). So, Vince created a character based on them as a way of mocking them. Hunter was very good with the Blue Blood gimmick, but he was destined for greater things. Between making friends with the guys with most pull backstage and then dating/marrying the bosses daughter, I have to give it him, he's one smart sob, that's for sure.

My first memory of WCW was a "red locker/blue locker" match featuring Alex Wright and Jean-Paul Levesque. I've hated Hunter ever since.

my dad hated him but I loved him. he was what I thought was cool (being a rich jerk haha) I always have to pull for a guy from Nashua... He's from my hometown, went to school with my brother and my buddy helped train him and get him into Kowalski's wrestling school.... btw the bs story about Ted Arcedies getting him into killers school is a bs story... he was originally traind for chain wrestling and such by Tony Roy, an old Job guy from WWF, Tony got him into Killers school. Arcedis trained him for body building early on. He went onto losing contact with his old friends once he connected with the Kliq, cause michaels told him not to affiliate with any of the job guys, it would make him look bad.
