Well, there it is. I finally picked up my first win as a WWE wrestler at the SmackDown tapings last night. Such an overwhelming experience having the crowd actually getting behind me and having my hand raised after the match. Drew was a great sport, and we had a really good match. I felt so much more comfortable than I did on Superstars, which is weird because really there should've been more pressure on me this week. Regardless, I am one proud man. I can't wait until it airs on Friday night for my family and friends to see.
The buzz of last night was quickly flattened when my alarm sounded at 4:45 this morning. I'm currently at the airport waiting for my flight which leaves in about 20 minutes. I am so excited for this Europe tour, and Germany is the first stop! The schedule for the next week or so is hectic, but from what people have said once we land in England and tape RAW/SmackDown everyone finds a new level.
I'll keep you guys updated on the sights and sounds of Deutscheland!

Still very weird that you just debut on Superstars. Seems you're putting Tom over VERY fast. Although not a main show an not picking up a win, being in the main event of the night doesn't seem proper. I don't know, man, maybe its just me. Maybe I missed something along the way.

I don't think its too fast of a push at all. It seemed to be that Masters/Hawkings was main event on Superstars not Butcher's match. I like the return win over Drew and esp as it was in his hometown. As long as he doesn't get a string of wins I think this is perfectly realistic. Europe tour sounds good, realistically I see you facing Drew for most of it and maybe an odd tag match. Good luck and keep this up.

I haven't been in the main event on either show I've been on. I was the first match on Superstars and in the early/mid card on SmackDown (I was just too lazy to write the rest of the show so I only put in my match). The WWE.com results go from bottom to top. Tom's debut on SmackDown was attempting to be somewhat reminiscent of John Cena's debut against Kurt Angle. I disagree that it's a fast push. You need to develop a new wrestler somehow. If anything it was a mistake for him to lose on Superstars.

WWETomButcher Tom Butcher The SmackDown group feels so hollow without Edge playing pranks in the airport. As a fan I miss him dearly already. Also, RIP S&S Larry Sweeney!!

Well, so far this is absolutely amazing. This could be one of your better written diaries and that is saying something. Like the realism of Edge/Sweeney added here and I love how you got revenge on SD! Hopefully the European tour goes well and maybe add a bit of conflict in there.
Keep it up buddymandudevondudenstein.

Thursday, April 14, 2011 We've landed in Munich, Germany and everyone seems to be a bundle of life after a pretty boring and redundant flight over. On the flight over I had my laptop in front of me and watched Family Guy episodes with Wade Barrett, who sat next to me the whole way over. I got along with Wade really well, and the guy is one of the most approachable on the roster which may surprise some. Even though it was a relatively sleepless flight for most, once we got off the plane everyone headed straight for the closest coffee place in the airport for a shot of life. I decided to bypass that and go for some food with Wade. We went to a restaurant just outside the international arrivals area and our main discussion was about Bryan Danielson. He picked my brains about the way we met and our training habits. I can see us getting close if we both stay on SmackDown for the next little while. The hotel we're staying at for the night is immaculate. There's a water feature in every room. Yeah, you heard right, a water feature next to every 60 inch plasma screen TV. The life of a WWE superstar, huh. I hope I don't need to pee during the night because the sound of that water feature could just put me over the edge! I'm in a single room by myself, but we're going out for beers after the show so maybe a lucky young German woman will accompany me. Maybe I shouldn't tell her that my flight to Dormund leaves at 8am tomorrow morning. I'm wrestling Drew McIntyre again tonight. Not sure of who's going over or anything like that. We'll see. - TB. Tom Butcher d. Drew McIntyre- Our match opened the show as a warm-up for the crowd, and they seemed to really get into it. Neither myself or Drew knew the result of the match until about 5 minutes before we went out there when the whiteboard was put up next to the curtain. Because of short notice, our match was very much worked in the same way as our SmackDown match, which is slightly disappointing. But we didn't have time to work a totally new match from scratch. In the ring when I knew our match was drawing to a close, I whispered into Drew's ear "I'll counter your DDT into a roll-up for the finish" - but Drew didn't seem to want to totally re-do our finish from SmackDown. He did me a huge favor by giving me the rub and letting me win with my finisher for the first time, the Sharpshooter. I gave Drew a nod of appreciation and thanks before posing for the crowd after the match.

Still loving this. The intregration of real life events is a cool addition but will be hard to keep up as this goes along. The continuation of the Drew feud is both great and realistic and I expect you to work with Drew all tour and on the next TV show as Drew will want revenge. Thought you may want a better finisher though since the Sharpshooter was recently used with the whole Hart angle I can't see management realistically allowing you to keep it. Good luck and keep this up.

I am loving every second of this. A feud with Drew McIntyre seems to be the best way forward as he is at the right level on the card for you to break into the company. I expect to see you working with Drew through the whole European tour, and I hope with the victory from SmackDown, this carries over onto the next televised event and you get yourself your first WWE feud. As Red Dragon said, the Sharpshooter finisher is a bit odd as it is heavily related with the Harts and in my honest opinion is a boring finisher in this day and age. I hope you develop some sort of new finisher for TV.
Overall, I am loving this and will most definitely be reading on. Great job so far, Mac.

I love the use of social networking in this and how you're using both Twitter and Tumblr. A feud with Drew McIntyre could be good and I'm not surprised to see it be you vs. Drew for the Europe tour but I'm wondering if you'll go down the realistic route of having Butcher/Drew on every show or if you'll mix things up by having tag matches, etc. I agree with Elliot and Red Dragon about not being a fan of the Sharpshooter finish and wouldn't mind seeing Butcher adapt a new finisher eventually.

I too love this too. It's great to see you making the jump here, and the feud with McIntyre over the whole tour makes sense. The german girls stuff was cool, to show your personality a bit too. Keep it up as this is looking good so far.

I'm liking this, man. The entries are short and sweet and the social networking aspect of this makes is seem even more like we're following a WWE Superstar. Not so sure on you using the Sharpshooter as a finish, I don't know, but the fact that Drew let you win with your finish is cool regardless. Keep this up, as it's a fun read.
