Mattel Needs to Promote Better Figure Websites, There should be a Legends section , Where there is a page per figure to promote knowledge of the figure and character. Also this should be advertised on the back of every legends figure packaging "Mattel Legends.com" .
Im thinking per Figure page, the standard Legends Artwork as a backdrop for the page, a picture of the Figure with accessories, then perhaps a picture of the figure w.o accessories in the ESR perhaps even performing their Finishing move. Then to the Side, The Bio of the character, Height and Weight.
and at the bottom a short video 3 mins - 5 mins Of some of the best of the character. Not Just Moves or Matches but Also Promos.
Now , the pictures of the figure serve well to show the figure with and w.o accessories which is a popular thread in wfigs. And Also Promotes The ESR, But gives the casual consumer more opportunities to see the character from both angles.
The Video Serves Better to the People who havent seen this character wrestle and are interested in the look of the figure. Say someone says 'wow that bam bam looks cool but ive never seen him wrestle before' so they go on youtube and find a horrible match and think 'ok nevermind , ill save my money instead'
Well this is mattels chance to put a short video, showing some of bam bams best promos, best moves and put it together in an awesome package of a video. Then within 2 Minutes Someone who doesnt know bam bam can feel like they know who he is as a character and would want him for play or pose in their collection.
The website would be great marketing and would be fun for the consumer ... Also With Legends News, Polls to Vote , and Prototype Pics it would get more retail consumers online to the product and potentially buy more of the older product not in retail anymore
