is the steven regal that has the awa remco fig william regal?
were can i find matches of awa steven regal?

Hi there, The Steven Regal that has the awa remco figure is not William Regal. William Regal did wrestle as Steven Regal for a bit but they are not the same person. Steven Regal from the AWA was known as Mr. Electricity Steve Regal. I'm not sure where to find some of his matches but I do remember watching him wrestle and I believe for a bit he teamed with Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin. I hope this info helps.

Darren Matthews (William Regal) took the name Steve Regal directly from the American AWA wrestler. He saw it in a magazine or something, and started using it while still in England. By the time he started wrestling in the US, the American Regal was retired, or close to it. Steve Regal's first name was changed from Steve to William because there were too many Steves in WWE at the time, especially Steve Austin.
