very bittersweet promo. on one hand you have one of the greatest promo cutters ever, on the other, he says "I might not make it to 30" very sad.

I can't believe this. This is one of those ones that is really going to bother me for a while. He was a favorite of mine and a hugely underrated talent. R.I.P. Sweeney, I'll bust out the T-Shirt in your honor today.

This is such sad news. Larry Sweeney was one of those guys in the indies. He was one of a handful of guys who you actually remembered, and who stood out when you read through the participants at some armory up start promotion show. Not to mention, the man could deliver on promos like you wouldn't believe. Truly he will be missed.

Just saw this on my friends Facebook, so sad. He was probably the most charismatic man on the indies. Hell, he was more charismatic than most of the WWE roster. Im gonna miss him a whole lot. RIP Larry. Your struttin in heaven now.

Oh crap man. I'm actually tearing up. I'm not really sure why, but I guess you get a connection with some of these guys when you watch them.
RIP Sweeney.

I had the extreme pleasure working with Larry on a few shows here in PA. Wonderful, wonderful man. So humble and such the nice guy behind the scenes. I'll miss you Larry and so will the entire wrestling universe.

Rest in Peace to Larry Sweeney. Such a shame that i do not watch the Indies but I do know who Larry Sweeney is while browsing the Independent Webistes along with Ring of Honor and many other similar websites. Alex (Larry) always stood out as a good guy and great manager.

For some reason, this hurts my heart almost as much as the passing of Eddie Guerrero and Chris Candido.
Like I said to Red Dragon: Larry was the epitome of all those 80's managers we all loved to hate. A little bit of James E Cornette, a little bit of Paul E Dangerously, a little bit of The Doctor of Style Slick, and a whole lot of Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.

this really stinks. Larry Sweeney was one of those guys in the peak of me watching wrestling that I just loved so much. Sweet'n Sour Inc. was so entertaining. there will never be anyone like Sweeney again.
