Sad to see him go, but better seeing him walk out with all the great memories than see him carried out on a stretcher. All I have to say is thank you.

Last night, a Rated "R" Superstar became a Rated "R" Legend! Thank you, Edge.
Hopefully we'll see a Christian World title run out of this... either as a face (carrying on Edge's legacy) or heel (spitting on Edge's legacy to prove himself the better guy.)

Well after my comments last night, and waking up to read the tweets from his peers, and the WWE tributes, etc, I now stand corrected. It IS real. Thanks for everything, Edge. That was one hell of a run. I had the pleasure of meeting Edge in LA earlier this year and he was the nicest, funniest, down to earth guy. It's a real shame but lets be thankful he has his health and won't be another wrestling tragedy.  |

I could absolutely see Edge being the headliner for the HOF next year. He deserves that. I'd personally save him for the next time Mania is in Canada. The crowd response would be off the charts. |

Im going to miss Edge so much he was one of the reason how I became the WWE fan im today, he is one of the reason I still watch wwe today.

So am I the only one who thinks he'll take the better part of the year off and then return for a final match with Christian at 'Mania? I really think he'll do everything possible to go out on his own terms.

You never want to see one of your favorites go, but thankfully he did so on his feet and not in a wheelchair. Thanks for all of the great memories Edge. Enjoy life healthy.

Scary to think he was literally days away from a ladder match. Had this condition not been discovered when it was, I shudder to think what could've happened to him at Extreme Rules.

This has to be one of the few times that even the internet community has had some solidarity on an issue. It's impossible not to just completely feel for the guy and have nothing but the upmost respect for his decision, and his career.
I'm hoping that after all the dust has settled, Edge somehow increases his web presence. I'd love for there to be a legitimate outlet through which to send him a message or email. After watching him literally grow up before my eyes, I feel like I, at the very least owe him a thank you that he could read.

I just read this on Dava Lagana's blog. It really shows you the kind of person Edge is:
"I saw Edge again for the first time since my departure from WWE as he was finishing up a few scenes for a WWE movie in Los Angeles. He had unknowingly booked himself in the same hotel as the WrestleReunion convention. He didn’t hide, he interacted with fans and came to watch our ROH show that night featuring Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin vs. Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli. Edge, along with Sinn Bohdi, started watched the match from behind the curtain. I remember telling Edge there was a better spot to watch from but he was so concerned from taking away from the match. We found him a spot he felt comfortable and he watched the match intently. He still was that same little kid, he was still a fan."

I can't put feelings into words here! I've tried 3 or 4 times, but it's just not sounding like enough to me! I'll just say a huge thank you to you Edge, my favourite star of the last 8 years!
