Will we really know what he means? No. However we sure can formulate our own opinion based on those words. My opinion is simply Hogan sounds in poor taste while possibly attempting to say something positive and constructive. With that said this is a guy who is still hanging around approaching 60 because he has nothing more to do with his life. Edge on the other hand has always said he wanted to go out on his terms even though a year or so premature he leaves with his long term health in tact.

What is so bad about this? I'm not saying anything bad about Edge but he's a real wrestler, Stone Cold and Cena had neck surgery and u couldn't stop em, Or Edge it's in Edges blood, he lives for this business he's a real wrestler, he's a lifer, he's one of the real boys, he's hard to hold down, that's all. HH. Don't compare Scott Hall to Hogan. Hogan is a piece of poop. Scott Hall isn't You don't know anything about Hogan or Hall. Except Austin's neck eventually did stop him, as has Edge's (who did in fact have surgery years ago). Hogan has bum hips, which by all means isn't anything to scoff at... but it's not a broken neck.

Who care what Hogan has to say? 86,203 people do. NASCAR is the number one spectator sport in the US, and yet I don't think millions of people care all that much about who wins the race, most of them are probably just watching for the gruesome crashes.... this isn't so different.

One thing that kind of erks me about his statements is that Hogan put Hardy's name in that list of wrestlers he named. Seems a titch out of place to me... I most certainly see the sharp edges (no pun intended) in Hogan's statements but I also see the positive.

Hogan is probably just wanting to reach out to Edge to get him to come to TNA. "Come to TNA brother, the doctors, you can wrestle yourself to death here like Kurt Angle will end up doing."

Hogan SHOULD have quit 15 years ago. Maybe now Edge won't turn into a delusional old man from staying in the business too long.

Who care what Hogan has to say? I agree hogans just a bitter old a$shole who needs to stay as far away from wrestling as possible at this point.

I didn't really read anything truly bad from Hogan to Edge here, but noted the 'media company' remark at WWE.

he's trying to suggest edge should continue wrestling despite health complications that is not 'how it is'. i understand how wrestling of old was, but that's what it is...wrestling of old. What quote are you even reading? “my take is with a unfixable neck injury it’s over ,but he’s one of the boys and it will be hard to keep him down,he’s 4life HH” He's not trying to suggest anything. He's saying that years ago guys wrestled through everything and never had the opportunity to go out on their terms. People really just hate on Hogan because they don't like the guy. no...he's suggesting that it's abnormal for edge to truly retire on the merit of retaining health...as one of 'the boys' edge naturally wants to run himself into the ground, or so hogan thinks.

Hogan is ruining his own legacy fast. He is working in a generic company performing in front of 600 people in a studio. Nothing he says can be taken seriously.

I think the important thing to take out of all of this is that after nearly a year and a half the only publicity Hulk Hogan can conjure up has nothing to do with TNA. Worth every penny.
That was pretty condescending imo. Sort of a "my generation has a way bigger dick than your generation" type of deal. Primarily, it came off as Hogan taking shots at WWE. I think he sort of tipped his hat to Edge, but it came across so poorly that it was easily lost in translation.
Also, are we really to assume Hogan would still be working at his age if he didn't need the money? Maybe Hogan wouldn't be a lifer4life had he been more fiscally responsible. 50 and 60 year old men should be able to walk away from wrestling and enjoy life, likewise when a situation like Edge arises it should be the same deal. No one, not Hogan, not anyone, should be questioning Edge right now. Edge has earned his right to handle this situation however he wants, end of story.
