thats an awesome otunga! did you use all build a fig parts? thanks! yeah, everything except the head was baf pieces. since everything snaps together and a kinda-permanent way, i didn't really know how he'd look until i fit him all together. it was a bit of a gamble. but i agree with everyone saying he's a little small. |

ok, next up, i've got another jeff hardy. this one was a kinda tricky. i couldn't exactly tell wtf was going on with his hair in the ref pics. there's some light blonde, darker blonde, brown roots and purpley-pink... i think. and i had no clue what happened with his shirt in the refs. was the shirt wet in spots or was it a black/red tye-die? who knows. below is my interpretation:     ref pic:  oh, and i skipped on the studs on the belt. i don't have the patience to bother with that insanity. any input is welcome... unless you're going to leave some unconstructive, d*ckbag comments. |

Excellent great paint as always 9.9/10.......... you should of painted the little tiny studs one by one on the damn belt , I would of gave you 10/10.
You know what works for tiny silver studs like on belts or Kanes.I use a silver sharpie.

Great job on the Jeff, even though I pretty much despise him. I guess you could sort of say it was a tie dye shirt, but the coloring was more faded in and out of black/dark red/red/ and a slightly lighter red then most of the time it was wet too.
I'm not really a fan of Jeff in general, and I am exhausted of seeing face painted Jeff's around every corner. Seeing this more classic look is a great change of pace. Great job once again.

thanks for the kind words, everyone. next up is Magnum TA for an order... easily the biggest pain in my ass figure to date. if something could go wrong, it did go wrong. decals lift after laying fine for 10 days? check. brown marker used for chest/arm hair slowly turns red? check. dullcote somehow sprays white paint-like substance, forcing me to start over on 3/4 of the figure? check. spill the skin tone half way through repainting the figure, forcing you to make a new slightly different skin tone and then repaint the entire body in the new tone? check. seriously. i'm sick of looking at this guy. customer wanted jake's head and i thought it was a good choice so we went with it. added hair, sculpted the boots and created the decals. as always, thoughts are welcome. thanks!     |

Another outstanding job GDM, always enjoy your work. This magnum doesn't disappoint. I know that feeling on everything going wrong on a figure and then when you think you have it done, it goes wrong again.
