That Taz looks spectacular, Global Domination Machine! It captures "The Human Suitplex Machine's" most iconic look perfectly, and looks factory made-- from the skintone, to the perfect part choices, to the scale, etc.
I am really interested in hearing the other idea you were going to do. Hell... could it top this?

I'm curious to know what mods you had in store. It's a shame you didn't get to pull them off, but I'd still like to know what the gameplan was. I always love thinking outside of the box like that. Anyways, as is, the Taz is great. It may be minor, but I like the subtle boot mods. It looks like you beefed them up on the sides so that they wouldn't look so thin. It's easy to overlook, but it really does add something nice to the overall look of the figure. Love the skin tone and overall painting as well. It all looks "factory", which is impressive to see knowing that you did indeed paint the entire figure. thanks for the compliments and noticing the details. to me, the details are a huge part of a figure. i wanted to mod taz's shoulder joint using jakks' ufc figs shoulders to allow the figure to get into (what i think is) taz's most iconic stance: using just mattel, you can't really get the figure's arms into that position and have it look "natural". some ufc figs have an extra joint between the shoulder and chest that would allow for this range of motion. so i'd have to kind of reverse engineer that part of the figure a bit. i also wanted to toss in the FTW belt. but honestly, clear pics of the belt are tough to come by. we'll see. i'm sure i'll get to it someday.

That Taz is sweet.
By implementing the Jakks UFC shoulders, were you planning on doing those on a Mattel body? That was the impression I got when I read your above statement, and wanted to clarify....if so, I think it would be quite the task, but would probably look great.

thanks for the compliments, everyone.
fnm(faith no more?), i used a mix of model masters acryl paints for the skin tone. it's the same people that make testors. i would absolutely NOT use testors, though. testors is chunky and thick and weird. i'd recommend finding a hobby shop in your area and give model masters a shot.
