So in the middle of March I went to WWE Niagara Falls. Or otherwise known, as the WWE Retail Store. They were closing down (They didn't renew their license, or lease or whatever its called), so I wanted to see if they had a sale. They did. Buy 2 items get 25 percent off, buy 3 get 50 percent off. Its too bad they were closing down, because its the only WWE Retail Store in North America. But their things were SO, SO expensive. They were asking for 60 dollars for a Ric Flair DVD! (they were selling it now for 25 bucks) I went home with a Carlito Shirt (5 bucks) and a mini replica WWE Niagara Falls belt ($7.50)Anyway, here are some pics if you havent seen the store before. I beleive they are now officially closed. The Side-ish Jericho Bobbleheads (they had kurt angle too) A Bad Pic of the Inside Mini Replica Belt, WWE Niagara Falls. (Based off WWE Championship from 2002...I think) Bought 1. For the hell of it...Edge handprint. The Front/Entrance The Piledriver Ride (you know..those rides that being you up, and fastly down) I just thought I should've shared some pics if some wanted to see some if they haven't seen this store before. Hope you enjoyed the pics! Ps. I finally know how to post pics! LOL

I like the belt on the front of the store. Is the Niagara Falls belt just a little mini kids replica or does it actually say "Niagara Falls on the front? -BEN

Its just like that, but instead of saying "World Wrestling Entertainment" on the front, it says NIagara Falls with a maple leaf in between the two words. EDIT: Forgot to say, like usual, the belt strap is plain black

I've been there twice. once when they just opened and they had alot of Memorabilia like WWF new york had and the second in like 2004 and the store looked like it was just about to close. Stuff was so expensive both times but I did buy a kid size version of those belts for $30 and a booker t figure with french packaging. I think one reason the closed was because of how expensive the stuff was

never understood why they killed WWE New York in timesq. Because I believe it was losing money. No sense in keeping it.

The entrance to that place is awesome. Too bad they're done. I can see why though.

never understood why they killed WWE New York in timesq. Do you have any idea how much a lease costs for Times Square real estate? Most of the stores in that area are part of larger chains and their Times Square divisions are more so for advertising and publicity then business. I'd wager that just about every TS store loses money, the merchandise is over priced, the stores are treated more so like a tourist attraction then an actual store, the leases are crazy expensive. The WWE Store was a store/restaurant. Being a restaurant adds a whole other issue as far as bleeding money, not to mention I doubt the food was particularly notable. It's pretty easy to see why they shut down that operation.

I went in 2003 and was the only person in there (I was backpacking at the time so had little money). Asked if I could have my photo with a replica belt on the wall. The shop assistant bluntly replied "no".

Yeah I visited this store in '08 when me and my family went to Canada. I kinda liked it, but yeah alot of their merch was out of date and very over-priced. I remember my brothers bought the Beth Phoenix/Maria two-packs for like 50 bucks a pop. Just because it was an online exclusive I think. Pretty crazy when I think back on it haha. I rode that pile-driver ride too, was pretty good.

Yeah, I've been to that store a few times. I actually went there back in 2004 when John Cena & Randy Orton were there. I missed out on meeting Cena, but I did meet Orton and remember wishing him luck in his match with Benoit at SummerSlam that year.
Everything in that store is WAY overpriced, so it's not surprising they are closing down. I am surprised they made it this far. I wonder what they will do with all the props and stuff...Just send them back to WWE, I suppose...

Did you hook up with any girls in the Niagara Falls area? In addition to the number of girls in the Niagra Falls area, he and Molly Ringwold are currently riding the hobby horse. +1 for the reference to the best movie ever.
