I thought it was entertaining ... I expected a corny wrestling comedy before I watched it, so I wasn't disappointed. It did the trick.
Although my all-time favorite is No Holds Barred. Both movies are funny, but Ready to Rumble intended to be funny... No Holds Barred intended to be an action movie, and turned out to be funny in spite of itself.

I never liked it, I just felt it took the p**s out of wrestling fans far too much for a film meant to be aimed at wrestling fans.

Ready to Rumble is so bad that it actually makes the move seem decent. I recall seeing it in theaters back in April of 2000. Looking back makes you like it even more.

FOREIGN OBJECTS!
Anyways, I wonder if WWE now somewhat owns the movie with the sale of WCW?

I loved Ready To Rumble! I own on DVD, and probably have seen it at least 10 times now! lol Jimmy King's the Bestler, better then all the other wrestlers!
By the way, I don't think WWE owns the rights to Ready To Rumble, because I see it on TNT and TBS all the time still.

Ready 2 Rumble rocked, wish I still had the tape I recorded of it.
I think Nicholas Cage was at an ROH show to be in a wrestling film but backed down.

I think Nicholas Cage was at an ROH show to be in a wrestling film but backed down. Yeah, that's what I heard as well. He was ready to do the role, but then backed down and it went to Mickey Rourke instead. As for Ready to Rumble, until this movie came out, I have never heard of or seen a "4 Post Massacre" before in the history of wrestling and I've been watching for over 22+ years.

I loved it for what it was, corny and funny. Some took it way to seriously and got easily offended by it which there really was no reason to. It pokes fun at those hardcore fans that are obsessed with it the business to extremes, thats what makes it funny.

I thought it was a lot of fun. Oliver Platt is such a great actor.
Martin Landau was great in it as well.
Overall, it could have been much better, but it was fun.
I really just wish it had been made before Bischoff got fired, as he should have been the main villian.

I loved the movie. I have not watched in years, I need to dig it out and watch it.
