Anyone think UFC will use him? I was looking forward to seeing him fight.

Maybe, if there is enough money in it, I mean Dana said Brock Lesnar was a risk, but he still did it. I doubt it will happen, but never say never.

I think batista is scared to fight in the ufc cause he knows he would end up fighting brock Or could it be that UFC is simply not interested in Batista? I mean, if he was in the midst of a deal with Strikeforce, and then UFC bought them, and now there's no deal.....despite Strikeforce and UFC's adamant comments on Strikeforce still being and running as a separate business. So maybe once UFC and Dana got involved, disliking the idea of another Pro Wrestler in MMA, the discussions stopped.

I think batista is scared to fight in the ufc cause he knows he would end up fighting brock Dude, you are ing nuts. He would have to go through about 5 guys in order to get the shot to face Brock and by that point, Batista would have about 4 losses on his record. There are lots of good, tough Heavyweights he would have to go through first and odds on, he'd get his ass kicked being a first-timer to MMA and all. Batista wouldn't even pass the manditory drug-test... He's hoping to follow in Brock's footsteps, just like Lashley, but it's all wishful thinking. I would LOVE to see how fast JDS would demo Batista though... Todd Duffee's record could be broken, if they ever set that fight up... ;D

He needs to go back to WWE and make that paper. Being a former WWE Superstar can't pay too well.

Honestly, I just don't think Batista has the tools to make a good mixed martial artist. Just watching his later matches before leaving, he doesn't seem to have the mechanics to do it. He doesn't appear to even have the flexibility or dexterity to have an effective ground game either. Brock is truly a one of a kind heavyweight. It's just his inability to take a punch that's his downfall.

Batista vs Brock wouldn't last 1 round. He has no place in MMA.

i heard that Vinnie Mac himself tried to re-sign the big man, still undecided. too bad about the Strikeforce buy-out, i would have liked to see what he could do in a competitive sport.
