Monday Night Raw April 25th, 2011 Jim Ross, Josh Mathews and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome us to the show. Michael Cole is sitting in ‘The Cole Mine’ which is now “decorated with Royalty.” Cole interupts them and says that he hopes JR gets drafted to the unemployment line because that’s where Jack Swagger and SIR Michael Cole are going to send him, when they defeat himself and Jerry Lawler at “Extreme Rules”. Lawler tells Cole to shut up and do his job. Cole says that unlike those two, he doesn’t have to worry about being drafted because he is on both shows, Cole sticks his tongue out while Ross and Lawler shake their head.
Justin Roberts takes the mic and announces our first interbrand match of the night, where the winner will earn one draft pick for their brand. Rey Mysterio’s music hits, and he awaits his opponent. Ted DiBiase’s music hits and we’re underway!
Rey Mysterio vs Ted DiBiase This was a solid match, nothing too out of the ordinary. DiBiase comes out solo, and the Raw broadcast team put over his breakup with Maryse on NXT, a few weeks back, aswell as the fact that DiBiase is a former WWE Tag Team Champion with Rey Mysterio’s current rival, Cody Rhodes.
The finish comes Mysterio reverses DiBiase’s “Million Dollar Dream” with a seated jawbreaker, allowing him to dropkick DiBiase on the ropes and hit the 619 Splash for the win.
Mysterio looks on at the titantron, as we await to see which superstar will be drawn out at random. And Smackdown’s first draft pick of the night is...
SMACKDOWN’s FIRST DRAFT PICK: DANIEL BRYAN!
Bryan comes out and poses for the crowd. Rey Mysterio seems very pleased with his draft pick, as he shows respect to Bryan. Josh Mathews puts him over as a former United States Champion and says that he will undoubtedly become a key player on Friday Night Smackdown. Cole continues to show his bias towards Bryan by saying “Good riddence.”

We’re back from the commercial break and Natalya & Eve Torres are in the ring.. They await their opponents, which turn out to be none other than LayCool! It is announced that this match will be for one diva draft pick!
Natalya & Eve Torres vs Michelle McCool & Layla The match starts off pretty solid, with Natalya using her technical based style. Layla quickly tags in Michelle, who doesn’t look pleased at the fact that Layla is trying to get away from Natalya. The broadcast team talk about the problems in LayCool’s relationship lately. Natalya goes for a takedown, but Michelle gets to the ropes which allows the referee to take Natalya away. When Natalya gets back to Michelle, she hits a huge boot to the face. And tells Layla “That’s how it’s done!”
Layla looks saddened, as Michelle is clearly getting too over-confident. Michelle picks Natalya up for The Faith Breaker, but still keeps her attention on Layla, which allows Natalya to hit grab Michelle’s legs and lock in the Sharpshooter. Michelle McCool taps out immediately, and Raw earns a draft pick!
Natalya and Eve leave the ring as Michelle and Layla continue to argue. The randomiser comes up, and Raw’s first draft pick is... RAW’s FIRST DRAFT PICK: MICHELLE MCCOOL!
Michelle and Layla immediately stop arguing, as they look on at the screen. Layla looks saddened by the pick, while Michelle looks shocked. Michelle and Layla hug it out, before Michelle attacks Layla and delivers a huge boot to the face! Michael Cole cheers her on and says that Layla had it coming. Michelle leaves the ring to a chorus of boos, as the broadcast team put over this key draft pick for the Raw Divas Division.
A huge blockbuster main event is announced for tonight, as WWE Champion The Miz will team up with R-Truth, as they take on #1 Contenders John Morrison and John Cena!
*commercial break*
A new Awesome Kong vignette airs.
Mason Ryan and Mike McGillicutty are standing in the ring, as the Nexus theme plays in the background. Kane’s pyro hits, followed by the Big Show’s theme, as the new WWE Tag Team Champions make their way to the ring!
WWE Tag Team Champions Kane & Big Show vs. The New Nexus (non-title) This match was your standard tag team match. Mason Ryan showed moments of strength as he went up against two of WWE’s larger superstars in The Big Show & Kane, but the ending wasn’t in their favor, as Big Show delivered the KO Punch to McGillicutty to pick up the win for Smackdown.
Big Show and Kane look on at the titantron, as they await Smackdown’s second draft pick of the night.
SMACKDOWN’S SECOND DRAFT PICK: UNITED STATES CHAMPION, SHEAMUS!
The broadcast team are shocked by this pick, as one of Raw’s top superstars makes his way over to Friday Nights. Former WWE Champion, and current United States Champion, “The Celtic Warrior” will definitely make his mark on the blue brand. Sheamus comes out onto the stage and raises his title high, as Big Show and Kane look on.
We go backstage, as we see “The Viper” Randy Orton, who’s making his way to the ring, he’s in action... next!
*commercial break*
“Voices” by Rev Theory plays throughout the arena, as the crowd show their support towards the former WWE Champion. Cody Rhodes’ music hits and the broadcast team put both competitors over as former team-mates during “The Legacy”, with Orton being Rhodes’ mentor, of sorts.
Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes. The match starts off pretty well, as Rhodes gets in on the offense and looks to be in control. But not for long, as Orton gets into the zone and delivers his signature moves. Orton lines up the RKO, but Rhodes quickly leaves the ring. The ref starts the count, and Rhodes walks out, whilst telling the crowd not to look at him. The crowd boo as Orton earns a draft pick for Raw.
Orton brings his full attention to the titantron, as he looks on to see Raw’s newest addition.
RAW’s SECOND DRAFT PICK: JACK SWAGGER!
Cole starts celebrating, as he gets out of his seat to show his support towards Raw’s newest draft pick, Jack Swagger. Swagger comes out onto the stage and points towards Cole’s direction. Randy Orton glares on, as Swagger seems pretty happy to return to the red brand.
*commercial break*
We’re back from commercial break and Michael Cole and Jack Swagger are doing a victory lap. Cole takes the mic and says that now his personal trainer is back on “his show”, he has no reason to return to that cess-pool known as Friday Night Smackdown. Cole says that he has been preparing for Extreme Rules all week, and how he can’t wait to see JR’s face when he locks in “The An-Cole” and defeats Jerry Lawler... once again! He says that Swagger has some warming-up to do, so anybody in the locker room, who’s willing to take him up on the challenge, should come out right now.
Kofi Kingston’s music hits and it looks like we have our next interbrand match scheduled.
Kofi Kingston vs Jack Swagger [with Michael Cole] This was very good for a TV match, as two of WWE’s brightest stars battled it out for a draft pick. Cole was showing support for Swagger, as he delivered a huge splash to Kingston. Swagger went for another but this time, Kingston moves. Kingston is on the offense and delivers some chest strikes to Swagger, knocking him down for his signature “Boom Drop.”
Kingston starts clapping it up for The Trouble in Paradise but Cole gets on the apron, in an attempt to distract the referee. Kingston attempts the move regardless, but Swagger catches his foot and locks in the Ankle Lock! Kingston struggles but eventually flips over, pushing Jack Swagger into Michael Cole, knocking him off the apron! Swagger looks shocked, as he turns around and allows Kingston to hit “Trouble in Paradise” for the three count.
Swagger goes out and sees to Cole immediately, as Cole clearly doesn’t look happy. Kingston awaits to see his draft pick for Smackdown.
SMACKDOWN’S THIRD DRAFT PICK: SANTINO MARELLA!
In an obsecure pick for the blue brand, Santino Marella will be joining us on Friday Nights for the very first time! Kingston looks happy with his pick as Santino comes onto the stage and does his signature “air-trumpet.” Josh Mathews says that Friday Night’s just got entertaining!
A battle royal is announced, which will earn three brand picks for the winning brand. And it happens, next!
*commercial break*
We’re back from the commercial break, and Justin Roberts announces the next contest as a battle royal, where the winning brand will earn three draft picks. Raw’s intro music hits, and out comes their superstars – Mark Henry, Evan Bourne, Zack Ryder, Yoshi Tatsu & Dolph Ziggler. Smackdown’s superstars are JTG, Tyler Reks, Chris Masters, and the newly drafted Sheamus & Santino Marella.
Interbrand Battle Royal The match starts off pretty crowded. Mark Henry eliminates JTG, who is the first eliminated, followed by Tyler Reks. Sheamus hits a Brogue Kick, knocking Ryder off the apron. Sheamus and Henry go over the top rope together, and it comes down to Dolph Ziggler and Santino Marella, who battle it out for the three draft picks. Santino lines up the Cobra but misses, allowing Ziggler to hit the Zig-Zag. Ziggler throws Marella out of the ring to win the match. Ziggler celebrates, as Vickie Guerrero gets into the ring to raise his hand.
Ziggler brings his attention to the titantron, as he looks on at the newest additions to the Raw Roster.
RAW’s THIRD DRAFT PICK: INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION, WADE BARRETT!
This Intercontinental Championship makes its way back to Monday Night’s, as current champion Wade Barrett returns to the red brand, after a three month absense. What does this mean for “The Corre”, as Barrett once again, leaves his stable behind?
RAW’s FOURTH DRAFT PICK: DREW MCINTYRE!
Another key draft pick for Monday Night Raw. As one of WWE’s brightest stars will be making his way to the red brand for the first time in his career. “The Chosen One” Drew McIntyre, former Intercontinental Champion will have no problem bringing his dastardly deeds to Monday Nights.
RAW’s FIFTH DRAFT PICK: ALBERTO DEL RIO! In arguably Raw’s biggest draft pick yet, current #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, Alberto Del Rio brings his first class in-ring abilities to Live Television. But the question remains... will he be bring the World Heavyweight Championship? Ziggler looks on at his three draft picks, still in celebration mode. *commercial break* This next bout is our final interbrand match of the night. CM Punk’s music hits, as he makes his way down to the ring alongside David “A-List” Otunga and Mason Ryan. His opponent is current #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, Christian! Christian vs CM PunkAs expected, these two put on a great match together. Especially considering the ammount of time it was given. CM Punk was lining up the GTS, but Christian flips over his back and hits a sunset flip for the three count! Punk looks shocked as The New Nexus make their way into the ring, as Christian runs out of the ring and celebrates. Punk is furious, as all three men bring their attention to the titantron. And the final pick of the night is... SMACKDOWN’S FOURTH DRAFT PICK: RANDY ORTON! Smackdown have just hit the jackpot in a HUGE Shocker, Randy Orton makes his triumphant return to Friday Night’s, after a five year absense. Orton makes his way down to the ring but the New Nexus bail, and CM Punk’s anger slowly turns to happiness as he sarcastically waves goodbye to one of Raw’s top superstars. The broadcast team announce that their Last Man Standing Match at Extreme Rules will be the blowoff to this rivalry, as Orton will now be bringing his attention to the World Heavyweight Championship. We see the WWE Champion The Miz, alongside his apprentice Alex Riley, making his way to the ring. Our main event is next! *commercial break* “AWESOMEEEEEEE!!!!”, and here comes our WWE Champion! The Miz makes his way to the ring, as he gets prepared for our upcoming contest. “Right Time” hits and R-Truth, as expected comes out without a microphone in his hands. The crowd seem disappointed at the fact that they can no longer sing along to R-Truth’s theme. Morrison and Cena come out and we have our match underway! WWE Champion The Miz & R-Truth vs John Morrison & John CenaThis was your standard Raw tag-team main event, with both teams getting in on the offense. Miz took it to Morrison before he made the hot-tag to Cena, who delivered his signature five moves, before lifting Miz onto his back for the Attitude Adjustment. Miz grabs the ropes and falls to the apron, then hits a snapshot, springing Cena off the ropes. Morrison tags in Cena on the way down and goes up to the top rope, before doing a huge body-press onto Miz on the outside. The finish comes when Morrison misses “Starship Pain” on R-Truth, allowing him to hit "The Complete Shot" for the victory. Truth leaves the ring and signals that he should be the WWE Champion. Cena checks on Morrison, whilst Miz looks on from the outside, as he noticably fears that his title is in jeopardy.

I loved your draft show, probably the best draft show that I have seen so far, loved the draft every single bit of it from start to finish, and the draft picks I have to say were awesome
Daniel Bryan to Smackdown, if anything I am happy with this pick, really happy, Bryan on Smackdown he will have more of an impact there and he can become a main eventer on the blue brand, he has a better chance of main eventing now that he is on Friday nights, and he can have newer feuds, AWESOME PICK-UP FOR SMACKDOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Michelle McCool drafted to RAW, I could have honestly saw it coming, but anyways I am fine with it, McCool is on the real home of the Divas, and I especially loved it when McCool turned on Layla, sort of reminded me like when Miz turned on John Morrison, or even when Shawn Michaels turned on Marty Jannetty, AWESOME PICK FOR RAW IN TERMS OF THE DIVAS!!!!!!!!!!
Sheamus drafted to Smackdown, he brings the United States Title with him over to Friday Nights, huge fan of that, Sheamus ever since he has been on RAW he has won the WWE Title twice, current US Champion, King of the Ring 2010, and now that he is on Smackdown he can become a main eventer on the blue brand. I would have him lose the United States Title on Smackdown, and then Sheamus focuses his sights on the World Heavyweight Championship, because Sheamus deserves to be in the main event, and not stuck in mid-card like how he has been, lost in the shuffle on RAW, and now he has a new home on Syfy, I am really happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME PICK-UP AGAIN FOR SMACKDOWN!!!!!!!!!!!
Jack Swagger drafted to RAW, Swagger is back on RAW, back on the red brand for the first time since 2009, and he is back, it makes me so happy, Cole's friend is back on RAW, I just hope Swagger becomes a main eventer on RAW now that he is back, as Swagger is a former ECW Champion, former World Heavyweight Champion, former Money In The Bank Ladder Match Winner 2010, IF ANYTHING SWAGGER CAN GET IT DONE ON HIS OWN, HE DOESN'T NEED MICHAEL COLE TO DRAG HIM DOWN RIGHT BACK TO MID-CARD, SWAGGER SHOULD BE IN THE MAIN EVENT BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE HE BELONGS, MY HONEST OPINION!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Santino Marella drafted to Smackdown, I must say that I am also happy with this pick-up for Smackdown, but what does that mean with Kozlov and Tamina, does he leave them behind or will they also get drafted to Smackdown in the Supplemental Draft? But still I can see Santino becoming United States Champion in the future, but still GREAT PICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wade Barrett the Intercontinental Champion back on RAW for the first time in over 3 months, Barrett brings with him the Intercontinental Championship and that title has not been on RAW since 2008 and now that it is back on RAW, I am so stoked, but what does this mean for The Corre? The Corre are going to be broken up, I think, busted up. Wade Barrett he can always take back control of The Nexus, overthrow CM Punk as leader, CM Punk does not even need the New Nexus anymore, and Barrett can kick Punk out of the group.
New Nexus= Barrett As Leader, Ryan, Mcgillicutty, and Otunga
Drew McIntyre The Chosen One on RAW now, if anything I want to see him get his push back, and become a main eventer on RAW especially since he was hand-picked by Vince to be The Chosen One, future WWE Champion if you ask me, and he is a former WWE Unified Tag Team Champion, former Intercontinental Champion, 2011 WILL BE THE YEAR OF THE CHOSEN ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alberto Del Rio now that he is on RAW, the question still remains that if he wins at Extreme Rules, he brings with him the World Heavyweight Championship over to RAW, BUT I KNOW THAT WE ALL WANT TO SEE CHRISTIAN WIN THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIS CAREER KEEPING THE TITLE ON SMACKDOWN SINCE RAW ALREADY HAS THE WWE TITLE, THE MIZ HOLDING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But still I am very excited about this pick for RAW, Del Rio I can see him having new feuds, the feud we all want to see, Del Rio vs. John Cena
Randy Orton drafted to Smackdown, for the first time since 2005, The Viper is now coming back home to Friday nights, Orton can now set his sights on becoming the World Heavyweight Champion and Orton can have newer feuds on Smackdown becoming the top babyface of the brand, my man, my guy ORTON BACK ON SMACKDOWN, I AM SO HAPPY ABOUT THIS PICK, YOU HAVE MADE ME THE HAPPIEST MAN TODAY, HONESTLY, CAN YOU SAY MY MAN ORTON THE NEXT WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But still overall a great draft, the best draft I have seen on this website, on this forum by far!!!!!!!!!!!

WWE RAW: Monday 25th April 2011...Alright, the layout looks nice for this. I'm not fond of Ted Dibiase and Rey Mysterio opening the show though, honestly. The interbrand battle royal would have been a better choice for opening contest. Dibiase is far from being a draw, and matches rarely open a show nowadays. Daniel Bryan to SmackDown is a good first draft, but as first pick of the night, you should have had a main eventer move brands. So far people wouldn't like to tune in and watch this show. Natalyla and Eve falling to the falling apart Laycool I'm not sure about. Michelle to RAW is better, hope Layla gets to move to RAW too though. Don't just kill Laycool's feud at Extreme Rules. WWE would never use the name "Awesome Kong". I prefer Kharma anyway, it's such a good name. The Nexus getting an opportunity at the WWE Tag Team Champions is cool, but Big Show and Kane destroying them does nothing for anybody. Show and Kane are treading water. Sheamus to SmackDown is good, a potential top heel. I have to imagine the WWE Intercontinental Champion is coming to RAW now though. Randy Orton beating Cody Rhodes is acceptable, but Rhodes is being built up and I doubt he'd lose cleanly at this early in his push. A disqualification or count out finish would have gone well. Jack Swagger to RAW was coming for a while. Kofi Kingston beating Jack Swagger isn't too bad I suppose, not a bad match. Santino Marella to SmackDown is simply confusing. But it is realistic to break up teams (Santino and Vladimir Kozlov). Dolph Ziggler winning the interbrand battle royal I love, worked out very well. Wish you'd have listed who was in the match other than Sheamus, Mark Henry, Zack Ryder, Tyler Reks, JTG and Santino though. Wade Barrett to RAW was expected. Please have the entire Corre move to RAW. Just don't kill another feud brewing in the Corre. Drew McIntyre to RAW is cool, he's not really going to go too far on SmackDown, but to RAW it just confirms this. Alberto Del Rio I wish stayed on SmackDown. With the amount of matches on this two hour RAW, I dislike how you've crammed in a match that could easily be used in a proper storyline. I like that you used the Nexus though, CM Punk losing to Christian by upset doesn't do the potential World Heavyweight Champion any favours though. Randy Orton is great for SmackDown. Lastly, glad you put in a non-draft match, The Miz and R-Truth beating John Morrison and John Cena is massive, and you are actually building the two main feuds in the company in this main event. Overall, not a bad episode but, RAW would NEVER have eight matches that weren't half squash matches. Not on a two-hour episode. Look forward to where you go from here.
