Am I the only one on WF that remembers The New Breed? No, as I listed them in my top 10 tag teams ever as I thought were original and innovative.

This probably doesn't deserve it's own thread so I'm putting it here.
I watched the 2001 Royal Rumble last night which got me thinking...how did they go from feuds like Triple H/Angle, Triple H/Austin, Undertaker & Kane teaming to Triple H/Undertaker, Rock/Austin, Kane/Big Show/Raven and Angle/Benoit at WrestleMania X7?
Did anything ever come of a Big Show/Rock feud since Big Show put him through the announce table at the rumble after getting eliminated? How did Rock get a title shot at No Way Out and beat Angle? Did the Triple H/Angle feud ever really end? I'm assuming the 3 stages of hell match was the culmination to Austin/Triple H but it seems to me that blow off would've been suited better for WrestleMania.
Was it just a case of running out of time and knowing that the money match was Rock/Austin again? Normally feuds start at the Rumble or earlier and WrestleMania is the big payoff for those. Here it seemed rushed or things just got forgot about? Hopefully this makes some sense. Sorry it's lot's of questions and kind of ranty, unfortunately I don't have access to any RAW or Smackdown from this era to answer these myself.

Austin won the Rumble so he was facing whoever was gonna be champ at WM........ Rock got the shot at Angle because Austin vs HHH was going down at NWO and Rock wanted Revenge from when he dropped the strap to Angle the previous October? and no nothing ever came of Rock and Big Shows exchange.I believe Show was sent back to OVW after the Rumble?but I may be wrong. after HHH beat austin at NWO he proclaimed he beat everyone there was to beat......cue Undertaker coming down and saying "you never beat me boy"or some such and the two sqauring off and yeah HHH vs Angle got no real blow off because it was only there to fuel Austin vs HHH really. hope that helped man

I'm back with another that does not deserve it's own thread. On June 14, 1993 The Steiner Brothers defeated Money Inc. for the tag titles. 2 days later Money Inc. wins them back at a house show and 3 days later The Steiners get them back. What was the point of hot shotting the titles around like that? Was there a contract dispute or something with the Steiners that then got resolved quickly or something? Thanks!

Just at a guess it was maybe to give the live audience something to remember without interfering with story lines on television.

Just at a guess it was maybe to give the live audience something to remember without interfering with story lines on television. Thanks guys after doing some more research and asking around that's pretty much the reason I found. Go to house shows because anything can happen in the WWF! That's pretty much it. That must have been really confusing for the people who knew the Steiners were Tag Champs and saw Money Inc. come out with the belts, only to lose them. Looking at the title reigns wiki page they did almost the exact same thing a little under a year later. The Quebecers lost the belts to Men on a Mission who probably should've had a longer run or at least shown up on TV with the titles as they were pretty big (no pun intended) fan favorites and this was their only reign. Then two days later Jacques and Pierre won them back at another house show. These look like the only two stupid examples of this, at least for the tag titles. Now with the latter I believe it was a mistake as Mabel fell on one of the Quebecers and pinned him by accident from what I have read, haha.

Warning really dumb question, I've always wondered this but never asked anyone. In the Hogan era what programs were available I know there was wrestling on saturdays and ppvs but what other shows were there to progress feuds and storylines, thanks

well Prime Time Wrestling was their main show and I would say Superstars was 2nd.
then you had 2/3 SNME per year that furthered things and that was it really.....
