It was King Kong Brody, managed by Sheik Adnan Al-Kaisse.
He had to call himself "King Kong" so people wouldn't confuse the name with Dick the Bruiser.

good answer, but i could of sworn they won the titles from the high flyers,ok who was greg gagnes partner after jim brunzell left and what was the team called.they wore camoflauge outfitts?

He teamed with Curt Hennig and they were known as Gagne's Raiders. I remember their AWA Remco figures, that's why.

i know they dropped the belts to the high flyers but i dont remember verne and mad dog being champs i could be wrong anyway gagnes raiders is correct.i still have their figures.someone else take a turn
