quite happy when I was reading about it. well deserved and the two put on a great match, perhaps del rio still has the eyes for gold because he has the charisma to be the champ, but  YEAH CHRISTIAN! |

Great match. FINALLY Christian gets the World Title that he DESERVES. I was so happy, and I definitely shed a few tears when he and Edge celebrated. GO CHRISTIAN

When Christian grabbed that belt, I jumped to my feet in applause.
It's my #1 favorite moment in WWE history. The man has deserved the belt for so long, and to see him finally get it was almost too great for words.

Like I said in the Extreme Rules thread, I'm happy for Christian. He's worked his ass off for years and has deserved a title run for a while. I've always been a fan of Christian and it's great to see them finally give him a title, even if it is somewhat of a knee jerk reaction with the sudden retirement of Edge. I hope he gets a long title reign out of it.

Christian has won just about every title now. NWA Title, WWE World Tag Title, ECW Championship, WWE IC championship, WWE Light Heavyweight title, WWE European title, WWF Hardcore title and now the World Heavyweight championship. no one has ever done that. Most wrestlers probably wouldnt WANT to be those champions......Well maybe NWA if it was back in the 80s |
