I remember back in the WCW days they always said that Lex Luger had a metal plate in his forearm. Is it true or just bull?

he was in a motorcycle accident and they had to put a plate in and the wwf used is as a storyline where he would hit guys with his forearm and knock them out.

Didn't that story start in WWE after he had a motorcycle incident just before he was to join Vince's bodybuilding group WBF & as a result when he joined the WWE he started using a running forearm smash
This quote from Wikipedia (Yeah I know not always reliable but ties in with what I thought. -The WWF also incorporated his motorcycle accident into his gimmick, capitalizing on the fact that he had a metal plate inserted into his forearm which was (kayfabe) said to cause more damage when it struck an opponent, which caused a number of his opponents to demand that he wear a cover over it during matches when he had a streak of knocking people out with it.

Yeah, I remember hearing about his motorcycle accident and wether a steel plate is actually in his forearm, we'll never really know for sure or not. I do remember some of the people he knocked-out were Tatanka, Jim Powers, Bret Hart and Pierre of the Quebecers.

From what i understand theres a very small metal plate held in my 2 screws in his forearm. The plate is about half the size of a dollar. Nothing by far that would "knock" any one out
