This has been bothering me for a while now. I've been looking at several website's WCW Tag Title lineage, and all of them say Nash & Hall won the belts on the January 12th, 1998 edition of Nitro. But everywhere I look at results for that show, it says the match was non-title. Additionally the lineage says that the Steiners won the belts back on Feb. 12th Nitro, but according to the results of that show, that's when The Outsiders won the belts?
could somebody help me out here: how does this make sense?

Like most of WCW's later years, it doesn't.

According to this site www.ddtdigest.com/updates/1998012m.htm it says the titles were on the line, and I'd say this site is more right because these reports were typed up as Nitro was airing...

I believe that the Steiners won, but for some reason had to return them ... some kind of angle with Bischoff making them hand em back or something.
