Hey, I remember seeing the (then) WWF broadcasting some sort of show that was sorta like a newstation, concerning the latest storylines and wrestlers. (All in kayfabe).
Can anyone tell me what the name of it was?
I always liked the concept because it made everything seem more realistic.
To help, there were tons of monitors in the background, and it seemed somewhat like a WWF "superstation". I have no idea how to explain it.

I think I remember that.
Didn't Petingil (I'm sure I spelt that wrong) host it?

I honestly can't remember who hosted it.
I do remember Mean Gene being on it, and I believe Vince.

Are you talking about the pre-1993 Event Center?

I think I know what you're talking about. He did in the old WWF Collessium tapes such as Wrestlefest 95, Brawl In The Family. The only other thing like that I can think of is Livewire or Action Zone if im not much mistaken.

It was either the Main Event or the Control Center.
Can anyone tell me what the concept for these two things were?
I watched WCW more than the WWF then, so I didn't see it much.

It was called "The Event Centre" and was hosted by Sean Mooney. The idea behind it was for Mooney to talk up a specific superstar then air a pre-recorded promo of them, I remember the promo's having a computerised background with that wrestlers logo on it. This would normally be on WWF Superstars and WWF Wrestling Challenge. I think it was mainly to further feuds or getting wrestlers over.
