This was the submission match from Royal Rumble 1990. I thought this was a great match and it's highly underrated. In fact, I think it's one of the best one on one matches in rumble history. What did you guys think of this match?

Oh man, I thought it was a great match and I especially liked how Garvin no-sold Valentine's figure-four leglock when he had his Heartbreaker on and was making funny faces and stuff. But, if there is one match that stands out that could be THE best "chop-fest" in history, this match is it.
Those guys were just throwing chops left and right. It was awesome!!

I thought it was two guys w/ two similar styles that really didn't mesh well. And I didn't like the shin guard and hammer jammer gimmick. But overall I like both guys.

I haven't seen it for awhile but I remember enjoying it, just them chopping the hell out of each other, plus for some reason I've always been such a mark for Greg Valentine

i remember those matches...they beat the hell out of each other with those chops...i always wanted greg to beat garvin though..the hammer is awesome!..i didnt really like garvin that much and i dont know why..

THe matches were technically fine but as far as the excitement level goes, I've had more fun watching the clock's minute hand change at the doctor's office while waiting for a colonoscopy. Good wrestling, boring match.
