My oh my HAS THE LANDSCAPE CHANGED..
Firstly I'd like to say, hello one and all.. I'm a WF oldschooler dating back to the TTL era. Some may remember me and most will not. I used to play SOCOM 2 online with a number of you fellow oldschoolers. I was a very well known animator and did a few great animations with fellow old schooler "Evan Xtreme" ..Probably the GOAT. lol,
Anyway. I'd like to say I'm overwhelmed with the greatness in detail of MATTEL Figures. This company is doing amazing things Jakks failed to. The Undertakers are ridiculousness of all sorts. Beautiful creations to say the least. So I commend the great people at MATTEL for the awesome work.
On another note.. I'd like someone to help inform me. I've been browsing the boards and what not got ages and finally got the urge to retrieve my password lol... So.. Exactly what's the deal on that huge 12" Beth Phoenix prototype that was shown at Toyfair or Comic con? With the real hair and what not? That thing looks sweet, but any word on those? I'd love to see a Taker or Cena or Oldschool Taker/Kane.. Many to be honest.
Lastly. I've decided to sell nearly my whole collection and will be posting pics of that tomorrow when my fiance and I take pictures... Look for those tomorrow in this post right here! And soon in the classifieds. With that said, what would some of you MOC collectors price figures like Brock Lesnar RA1, Mysterio RA1.. Unchained Fury RVD, Hurricane as well? I have quite a few MOC figures of some of the guys FIRST figures and would like to know what they would run. Besides like I have a HUGE collection of loose RA/R3/BCA/Bendums.. And others that fail to come to mind.
Thanks for your time! Keep up the great work MATTEL.
Happy to be back on the boards as well!

Welcome back to the boards, could we see any of your animations? No-one knows as of right now about the Beth Phoenix doll. Their is already an Old-School Taker and their is a figure coming of Kane based around the period that he lost his mask. So again, welcome back!

Yes.. I'm aware of all the coming figs and what not. The Kane was an automatic buy for me.. I hope to see them capitalize on what they have here though. Like seriously dig deep, make a legends Kane, with one sleeved debut attire (preferably materialized) and full mask. Jakks made two I believe which blew huge balls. One was a re-paint with a half mask and the other just had an old ttl scan.
The classic taker is awesome as well as the comic con ministry taker.. And the upcoming defining moments taker. Beautiful stuff. Now that I'm older I'll only be collecting figures like these.. I have tons of ideas for them and wish I could be apart of their business because to me the defining moments taker isn't that much of a defining moments worthy costume choice...
They should have totally done a Kane in undertaker gear for when he dressed as taker or done a taker in Kane gear when he was dressed as his "brother" and both times they had stunned the fans.
As for my Anis I'll look in my old photbucket accounts and see if I have any.. I'd won many ani "ppvs" and was the moderator of the board a handful of times... And thanks. It feels great to be back, but I'm Only back thanks to Mattel.

The 12" Beth Phoenix was a piece someone at Mattel made for the heck of it (I guess)... and then they decided to display it. There are no plans to release it.

That's a shame because I could see figures like that being a major collectors item, say, for the more serious collectors.
That thing reminded me of "cinemaquettes".. Extremely life-like statues of major theatrical characters. Such a Arnold Schwarzenegger as Terminator. Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow.. Check those out. They go for about 500-1500 or more a piece. EXTREMELY pricey.. But these bad boys are around 24 inches tall I believe and feature real clothing. As well as real hair, carefully placed, hair by hair. Latex skin. Glass eyes, etc. Amazing pieces of movie art.
I would gladly pay 4-500 for specific figures. Again.. Only for serious collectors that way they wouldn't have to produce a large quantity. Maybe 1000 per selected superstar. And sold online only, via RSC.

I haven't picked up any figured from the legends line yet. None have gotten a rise out of me.
Only "legends" I have picked up are Defining Moments Warrior.. And I would say Rock.. But he's not a legend to me. I plan on getting Austin if I find it, if NOT I'll buy the Defining Moments of course. As I stated, I'm Head over heels for any figure with full ring gear/street gear. And I plan on getting Vader. Other than that, I'll wait for a Kane like I have been for years... Unless he's released in a Defining Moments.. Lmao. Legends line is pretty lackluster.

You don't consider The Rock a Legend...? And Kamala, Rick Martel, Demolition, Jake Roberts etc... haven't got a rise out off you...? You need to do more research on the Legends line the figures are unreal!

Mattels are definitely the best thing that ever happened to wwe figures. Are you looking to sell on eBay?

No.. I'm not selling my collection so I can buy mattels. Lol. I'm selling it for the heck of it I guess.
And just because I have been posting, doesn't mean I'm not up to date. I'm well aware of what the legends line has to offer.. I know where everything stands as of right now and I haven't stopped following this hobby one day since the last time I posted here... As great as the Rock is I do not consider him a legend just yet. Due to the way he operated over the years. He peaked in WWE.. left for a while. Came back. Left. Came back. I'm huge fan of the Rock.. But most people wouldn't even call HHH a legend yet. An icon, yes. Legend? Not justtttttt yet. It's like one of those "borderline" deals with me.
The legends series has a lot to offer for collectors older than I am by a few years but I'm not big on it... I'm anxious for guys like Funk, and stuff... But Kamala? Great looking figure but I mean.. I don't see the jazz behind it besides detail. I'm a strict 95/96-2002 era fan. Attitude era all the way.
