Watched a few of these videos, not sure how reliable they are, but i thought i'd post it for what its worth
So what do you think of Pirates of the caribbean 5.
Personally i couldnt sit through the 3rd, probably gonna wait for the 4th to come out on dvd, or maybe if i have a day where there is NOTHING else to do, ill go see it

Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley need to return in 5 and 6. Will was literally the main character all the time, all the stories revolved around him way more than Jack Sparrow.

Pirates 3 was the only one that I saw in full and I liked it a bunch. I am definitely looking forward to seeing the 4th and I hope if they do make a 5th, the original cast comes back to show more of the after the credits scene.

Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley need to return in 5 and 6. Will was literally the main character all the time, all the stories revolved around him way more than Jack Sparrow. Wait until you see 4 before deciding if 2 characters whose story has already been told to the fullest extent need to return. Wasn't there a rumor going around that Russell Brand was going to pop up sometime in the 2nd trilogy as Jack's brother? |

I'm not that big a fan of the series. I've seen the third and parts of the second and first. Just doesn't interest me.

yeah apparently Disney is so confident that 4 will do well 5 is greenlite and waiting.
I loved all 3 but have NO desire to see Bloom and Kinghtley return.their story has been told in full.and I hope Brand does turn up-I think he would be a perfect fit

They have been planning on doing a 5th and 6th film since before the 4th ones trailer debuted. I have no idea what other pirate myths they can do but it'll be interesting to see.

The 4th isn't really pirate myth...it's based on a book from 1987. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/On_Stranger_TidesSo when you think about it, they could pretty much take any pirate story, well-known or not, and just insert Jack Sparrow into it. |

Neither Orlando Bloom or Kiera Knightley interest me in the least. Their characters were pretty cookie-cutter and not at all exciting.
I liked the first Pirates movie, but the second and third were pretty bad. I'll probably pass here after seeing the scene they released.

I presume so, since they never did anything of interest while I was watching. They had sex, that was it. They even showed 10 years later... where they probably did it again. Honestly, their story arc was fine, but by the third movie it was so stupid and really took away from the films. 1 was great. 2 was good. 3 was awful. Focusing in on less subplots and keeping it concise is never bad, and it does seem like 4 will do such a thing. And hey, a script has already been written for 5, which is a lot better than when they went into 3 and started filming without a completed script  |
