only thing worse would be if Brock/Junior got injured, at the same time no less. horrible news, Hamill vs Rampage as a main event stinks. killed that whole card IMO.

This card is SO NOT worth $50 Even without Edgar vs. Maynard it's still a pretty stacked card, it's worth $20 if you go to a bar. Being a huge Rampage fan, I'm okay with this.

so upset about this, I was looking forward to this whole card but more importantly the main event, it's an absolute shame they both got hurt and can't compete

Well this news officially sucks... I was really looking forward to Edgar finally beating Maynard. Rampage Vs Hamill as the main event? Really? I'll be surprised if another big fight isn't added to the card to spice things up. Pettis vs. Guida is one week after UFC 130. They should bump it up to this event so they can have an interim champion. Edgar vs. Mayanrd won't happen until much, much later in the year. Pettis Vs Guida added to the card would be cool, but I wouldn't make it for the interim title... everyone knows that Edgar is the real champ - and Edgar/Maynard 3 will happen later in the year. I'd only ever have an interim title if you know the champion will be out for around a year or so.

Pettis comments... “They were going to have me fight Maynard on that card. I said yes to that deal right away. I guess it turns out that it’s not going to happen. I’m back to fighting Guida. It sucks that he got injured, because it kinda puts the whole lightweight division back on standstill. ” After reading that, anyone else think that Maynard's 'knee injury' is just a way to hold onto his title shot, rather than fight Pettis and potentially lose it. I mean, the timing is rather coincidental. My thoughts exactly And, why isn't Nelson/Mir the new main event? Is Dana still b*tching about Mir's no-ko against Cro Cop?

Rampage vs. Hamill was already going to be the co-main event. They just bumped everything up.

Well I'm glad I decided to hold of on a Vegas trip. This match was the selling point for me.

Actually with me moving, I was going to miss this fight, so from my point of view, kinda glad it's not happening, so I can catch it when it does. =D
