Extreme Rules crowned the new World Heavyweight Champion as Christian defeated Alberto Del Rio to win his first ever World Heavyweight Championship. His win wasn't celebrated alone as Edge came down and emotions came over both men as Christian is now the new face of Friday Night Smackdown! However with the departure of Alberto Del Rio to Monday Night Raw, who will face Christian now? Tune in tonight as Friday Night Smackdown is live from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida!
The classic WWE intro fades as Friday Night Smackdown's newest intro plays on the titantron to the live crowd in the American Airlines Arena. The crowd cheers as some of their favorite superstars appear on the tron infront of them. The song of 'Let it Roll' by Divide The Day plays on the speakers to the whole crowd in attendance. The crowd erupts as the pyro hits the stage and continues as flashing lights around the arena.
The commentary team of Michael Cole, Booker T and Josh Mathews are on commentary tonight as Friday Night Smackdown showcases the brand new World Heavyweight Champion.. Christian!
"GO!" hits the speakers as the crowd stands on their feet cheering for the new World Heavyweight Champion, Christian. He walks out and stands on the stage looking at all the peeps in attendance, he put's his hand to his forehead and motions it around the arena looking at all his 'Peeps'. He smirks at the crowd live from Miami and proceeds to walk down the ramp and climb into the ring, he grabs onto a mic and looks around the arena for one last time soaking in all the emotions roaring through the crowd, he places the mic to his lip as a 'Christian' chant breaks out which causes him to hold the mic down and let it soak in. After it dies down he then begins to speak to the WWE Universe telling them how much he loves this business and about how he would sit home and watch his best friend in the world - Edge take over Smackdown and that he wishes he was still here so they could have one last match together. He then talks about how he captured this belt for not only Edge but all the fans who stuck with him and never gave up on his dreams of becoming the World Heavyweight Champion. Another chant breaks out of the crowd, this time it is 'You deserve it!'. Christian puts his hand to his eye and brushes off a tear from the reaction of the crowd. He lays his head down, but as he does Theodore Long's music plays on the P.A System. Friday Night Smackdown's GM Theodore Long walks down to the ring with a mic in his hand and smiles at Christian, he climbs into the ring and walks over and proceeds to shake Christians hand. But then he speaks about the future of Smackdown. Theodore Long speaks about how Smackdown has lost some top playa's but also gained some in the process and tonight there will be a match with two superstars that Smackdown acquired during the draft.. Them superstars being Randy Orton and The Great Khali and they will fight to earn a chance to face Christian for the World Heavyweight Championship at Over The Limit. Christian looks at Long and nods his head and then puts the mic to his lips, he says whoever is the winner of the match tonight will have to knock him out cold to take this title away from him, Christian then drops the mic and lifts the World Title over his head as the crowd cheers.

The commercial ends as Friday Night Smackdown comes back on. The sold out arena in Miami, Florida is yelling and cheering ready for some action.
Layla def. Alicia FoxThe match seems pretty even at first however Layla quickly get's the upperhand on Alicia Fox by pulling her hair and then getting a rollup, however it failed and Alicia kicked out. Fox then got up and hit an unsuspecting Layla in the gut, as she bent down Fox came off the ropes to make the finish but Layla quickly moved and grabbed Fox's head then delivered The Layout to get the 3 count.
Layla held her head and raised her hand but the celebration was cut short as Kharma's music hit. Kharma came out and looked at both divas in the ring, she proceeded to walk down and look around at the fans ringside. Kharma jumped on the apron and climbed into the ring and scooped up Alicia Fox. She fixed her eyes on Layla who rolled out of the ring, she then snapped her attention back to Alicia Fox and lifted her up and planted her face first with the Kharma Bomb. She looked back at Layla and laughed sadistically.

Sin Cara def. Tyson KiddThis match was fast-paced as both men showed their athleticism, it was a great high flying match as both superstars had great control and awareness of the match. The finish came when Tyson Kidd leaped off the top turnbuckle but got caught by Sin Cara. He then backflipped with Kidd and hit a Moonsault side-slam to pick up the win!
A video package is shown as Christian is climbing up the Ladder and grabbing onto the World Championship.

Friday Night Smackdown comes back from commercial break as the announce team plugs some sponsers: Call of Duty: Black Ops Escalation Map Pack, Paper Jamz and Randy Orton's Movie.
Sheamus elim. Daniel Bryan to win the 10 Man Battle RoyalParticipants:Sheamus, Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry, Ted DiBiase, Justin Gabriel, Jey Uso, Heath Slater, Jimmy Uso, Cody Rhodes, Yoshi Tatsu
The Battle Royal starts as all the men head right for their weakest links. Mark Henry grabs onto Yoshi Tatsu and sends a head flying towards him, Tatsu moves quickly and sends a boot to his leg and follows with another boot to the legend. Tatsu then climbs on the turnbuckle and leaps back at Mark Henry however he is caught and thrown out of the ring.

Mark Henry then goes after Jimmy and Jay Uso by grabbing their heads and smashing them together. He grabs onto Jimmy and holds him against the turnbuckle and hits him with a big elbow to the neck area. He grabs onto Jimmy once again but Jay quickly rushes over and chops him in the back with a big slap. He grabs onto Mark Henry by the arm and twists it around. Jimmy climbs the turnbuckle and leaps off sending an elbow to the arm of Mark Henry. Henry drops to his knee as Jimmy grabs onto Henry. This time Jay climbs the rock but is blindsided by a Big Boot from Sheamus as he falls out of the ring.

Mark Henry then throws off Jimmy and hits him with a big clothesline. He grabs onto the fallen Jimmy and lifts him into the corner, as he steps back he looks at Jimmy and rushes at him and splashes him against the corner. He then picks up Jimmy and tosses him out of the ring hitting his brother Jay.

Mark Henry then try's to recover from the attacks of the last men but is quickly ambushed by Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase and Sheamus. The three men throw fists and knock him to the ground and then stomp on him. Sheamus orders DiBiase and Rhodes to lift him up and as they do Henry pushes both men off of him and looks at Sheamus, Henry takes a step towards him as his back was against the ropes and is quickly taken by surprise when Daniel Bryan came flying off the turnbuckle hitting him with a big handle drop. Bryan then pushed him into the ropes and hit him with blows to the stomach. Sheamus sized up both men and waited for Bryan to turn around and as he did Sheamus leaped up and threw out a boot however Bryan ducked it and it sent Henry flying over the rope.

Sheamus turns around and catches a glimpse of Bryan but is hit with a big dropkick into the ropes. He bounches off them as Bryan rolls under him and springs to his feet. He jumps over Sheamus as Sheamus bends down and then turns around waiting for him to come back however Sheamus grabs the ropes and stops himself. bryan then runs at Sheamus and hurls himself towards Sheamus but it hit with a gut tackle by Cody Rhodes in the process. Rhodes hammers away at Bryan but is cut off by Sheamus who is looking for revenge. Sheamus grabs Rhodes by the back of the mask and lifts him to his feet he turns him around then pushes Rhodes. Bryan staggers to his feet behind Rhodes holding onto his face. Bryan then guns it towards the opposite ropes and springs off throwing a boot out to the back of Rhodes head. Sheamus catches Rhodes and tosses him backwards over the ropes as Rhodes tumbles to the ground.

Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater are shown beating on the downed DiBiase, they quickly stomp on him and deliver big hits to his gut. They press him against the corner and beat him down some more. Gabriel motions to Slater to lift DiBiase on the turnbuckle, as he does him and Health climb the turnbuckle with DiBiase. They both throw his arms over their shoulders and pull him to the top, as they do they also climb up. As all three men stand on the turnbuckle Sheamus runs over and pulls himself under Cody Rhodes and tries to power him off with both men. Daniel Bryan then runs at the ropes beside all the men and springs off the rope then sends out a boot hitting it off DiBiase's head. DiBiase falls out of the ring and as Heath is about to get off the turnbuckle he is confronted by Daniel Bryan who dropkicks him off also.

Sheamus holds onto Justin Gabriel as he has nobody to hold onto and is quickly slammed on the canvas hard from a power bomb. Sheamus laughs at Justin on the ground but doesn't see Bryan on the turnbuckle just behind him. Out of nowhere Bryan comes flying off the turnbuckle and hooks onto the back of the neck of Sheamus and sends it backwards performing a flying neck breaker. The final three men are on the ground in pain, Justin looks over to the ramp and spots Wade Barrett sliding in behind him. Gabriel slowly makes his way to the ropes out of the action. Bryan climbs to his knees and then shakes his head, he spots Gabriel by the ropes resting. Bryan tries to make his move and walks over to Gabriel, as he does Gabriel is aware and quickly sends a knee to his gut. He grabs onto his arm and holds it on the rope and pulls it down dragging him over the top. Wade Barrett sizes up Sheamus as he makes his way to his feet. Sheamus climbs up and is dazed, he snaps around and looks at Barrett who is rushing towards him. Sheamus sidesteps out of the way and Barrett hits Gabriel in the head causing him to fallout.

Barrett is shocked but is quickly grabbed and tossed out of the ring. Bryan is still attending his arm unaware of what is happening and as he turns around is hit with a giant Brogue kick as he falls out of the ring.

The bell sounds as Sheamus drops to his knees and holds onto his head. He looks over at Barrett with a grin and raises his hand in victory. Barrett picks up Gabriel but is brushed off by him, Justin then holds his forehead and stumbles himself backstage.
Randy Orton def. The Great KhaliChristian walks down to the announce table with his World Heavyweight Championship, he grabs onto a headset as both men enter the ring.
Randy Orton takes control of the match by grabbing onto Khali's midsection and wrapping around him like an Anaconda. He holds onto it and wears Khali down but Khali sends out an elbow and rams it off Orton's head. He backs Orton off abit and gains control of the match. Khali holds onto his waist from the pressure but Orton is waiting and strikes with a dropkick to the knee sending him to the ground, Orton quickly sends another leg out and rams it off his other leg causing Khali to be on all fours. Orton capitalizes and rushes at him in the corner sending his foot out and ramming it off his skull delivering a big Punt. Orton drags the massive Khali to the middle and hooks his massive leg for the three count.
Randy Orton's music plays as he looks over to Christian at the announce table. He shoots him a look of pain and grins. He climbs to his feet and raises his hands in the RKO Taunt.
Friday Night Smackdown goes off the air as both men look at each other from a distance.
