Why do people like this one so much? When I look at it the first thing I think of is the "Buddy Christ" figures from Dogma. But all that aside, I just don't think it looks anything like him, except for maybe the eyes.
Obviously, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I wanted to hear from some of you on this.

You compare it to buddy christ, but that's the thing, CM Punk looks like Jesus, though the scan doesn't have that be cheesy wink and smile going on like buddy christ so I don't know how you got that link.

I love the scan... I just wish they had used it on the Elite 6 figure so that us Eliters that collect MOC could have had it  |

Yeah its strange as I dont think its very good at all and isnt a great likeness.
I prefer the Elites.
But other collectors say its the best ever.

it's my favorite punk scan as well. but i'm also a fan of the basic 2 scan.

I personally like it because it represents when he was going through the S.E.S gimmick, which was a little different from his previous roles. Not to mention the scan looks good as well

I honestly like Basic 2. A very underrated scan. totally man. The facial features alone on Basic 2 are very accurate. It's just a shame that the paint is so weak (esp. on the facial hair). On the other headscans, including OTL, the face just looks far too much like a caricature IMO. Eyes and nose are way too big and he has a huge mickey mouse grin to top it off. One of those guys (like Edge) that Mattel have yet to nail in terms of likeness. |

Honestly I have mixed feelings about it...
On one hand the face & beard does look like Punk....but the overall head is too round which throws the appearance off. I think that's the biggest problem

I think it's a pretty good scan overall, but my favorite Punk scan is the Elite one, as I feel it looks a bit more like him.

I just hate the head they put on all the rest. It's like ECW debut Punk but doesn't work for any other look for him.

I just don't think this scan looks anything like Punk. As previously stated, it looks more cartoon than anything. I think the Basuc 2 scane (thought very outdated) and Elite scans actually look like him.
As far as the Buddy Christ reference, it was the first thing to cross my mind when I saw it.

I really like it, probably my favourite Punk scan to date, Mattel or Jakks. The beard looks amazing, and the hair does too, it just captures that era of Punk perfectly.
