i went to target this morning to look for the tlc wave. luckily they just put out a new case. then i see how much they are...$13.19!! i had to hold off because i just bought some of that wave last week for $11.89. the elites at my target went up to $17.89 as well. this is getting out of hand when a basic is nearing the old price of the elites!!!
have any of your target prices gone up yet?

IDR the price off hand but I know it has gone up. It's a bit off topic but, TRU near me is charging $13 for a Basics!

I find it funny, how you Americans complain about those 'high' prices. I mean in Germany and in many other country the prices are more than double of yours. Just sayin'

No Targets in Canada yet, but at the store that Target is taking over soon, Zellers, Basics are $15, and Elites are $20.

Last time I was there earlier this week they were $9.98 I think. But that was 6 days ago. I'm pretty much giving up on buying at retail. It's almost cheaper to order stuff online now with the prices going up and the cost of gas.

I don't think those two dollars will stop you from buying wrestling figures. Pls don't get me wrong

WAIT your target has wrestling figures haha? 3 targets around here havent gotten anything in months. 1 just has rumblers and the 2nd one just has one elite cody that has been opened, and the 3rd just has a mark henry and finaly elite! Be happy your target even has wrestling figures.
Atleast those prices arent as high as RSC. They are getting to money greedy in my opinion.

I haven't seen the bump in prices for basics at Targets in CT. But all other Mattel WWE and DC (and I heard hot wheels) went up. I mentioned a couple weeks ago that Flex Force passed Basics in price at my area Targets. Which I thought was odd.

Mattel prices are outrageous. I predict that my collecting days are over before years end. The cheapest Mattels are 2 dollars too much. Elites range from 14.99-18.99 when they should be no more than 12.99. Basics for 12.99 is an outrage. Those should be 7.99. I no longer shop at TRU because they are the most expensive. Like I said, one more price increase and I am done. If I wanted to overpay I would go through Ringside. As it is I have to wait 3 months to get it at a normal price, take that away and what do we have left? Ultimately 15-20 dollars for plastic that I won't be able to unload for a fraction of what I paid. I know that inflation is an issue, but this really isn't a good value anymore. Some may disagree because of quality and accessories, but I would gladly pay 11.99 for an Elite with no shirts and maybe 1 accessory. Sometimes none. Anything more than 9.99 for a Basic is an insult. I would love to keep this going, but these stores are making it near impossible.
