Lol'd at Taker vs Foley... Should be Sting. Or Goldberg. You laugh at Taker vs Foley but then suggest Goldberg....You're opinion is invalid now

I'd like to see Mankind, lead by Paul Bearer, managed by Brother Love, and seconded by Kane. Foley decides he's going to end the streak and collects as much "data" as he can to do so. In the weeks leading up to Mania, have him consult with Jake Roberts, Jimmy Snuka, King Kong Bundy, Sid, Big Show, Harvey Wippleman (representing Giant Gonzalez), Shawn Michaels, and HHH. All these guys try to help him as much as they can, so for the "final shot", someone can end the streak.

I Chris Jericho - I don't really feel like WWE ruined this by having them face a few times on Smackdown. I could see it easily being Jericho, wanting to cement his legacy forever. I just imagine a great match, great build up, even without any storylines in mind. Wasn't it just once? Nope, at least twice. They faced for the first time prior to Survivor Series 2010, where Undertaker won. The second time was prior to Elimination Chamber 2010, where Edge's spear caused Undertaker to lose.

Should be Jericho if Taker was to win.
If Taker were to lose to anyone, if built properly, it should be Cody Rhodes. He could be built to look like a major threat over the year and I could see Rhodes wanting to go after Taker's streak and I believe it could get good build up.

Taker shouldn't lose, and for him to lose to Cody Rhodes would be crazy. While I do think a young superstar could benefit hugely from being Taker's last opponent, it should be someone who can get the best out of Taker. It should be a well put together storyline with a great match to end it. Taker vs Jericho would be amazing, as they've never really had a feud.

Personally I wanna see it be kane in a last man standing match with the loser going back "Home"
Maybe have it be double countout and they both go. Or maybe Kane has it at 9 and then the lights go out and Taker is gone denying Kane the victory he wanted leaving Kane to go on a rampage claiming he got screwed of that win. Then they bring in a new wrestler billed as Takers son. Takers son and Kane feud leading to a loser leaves WWE match.

Taker vs. Jericho would really be the only fresh Wrestlemania storyline. Granted they feuded briefly before, but with it building up from the Royal Rumble it could turn out good.

Do anything. He's incapable of putting up a decent match against somebody like The UnderTaker. He's a ground and pound guy. I just don't see him going full on against a guy like Mean Mark. Sure, he can tear it up against guys like Sting, getting thrown of a cage and beat with a barb-wire bat or put through tables, but that' just isnt takers bag. Especially not at WrestleMania.

Cena is really the only guy left who would pose a real threat to ending Undertaker's streak, but that obviously won't be taking place. It's gonna be Undertaker vs.Triple H next year at Mania barring anything unforeseen happening. At this point Undertaker needs to wrestle somebody who has the ability to carry their own weight in a match with him, you can't expect him to be able to carry his opponent.

As much as I'd love for it to be Sting, I don't see it happening.
I wouldn't mind seeing Jericho/Taker, but we're more than likely just going to get HHH/Taker for a 3rd 2nd time.

cm punk could work as this new mega heel much as the edge/taker feud worked so well.

I think it should be Jericho/Undertaker without question. They can finally have an actual storyline and everything.

The way I see it, Foley reappears as Mankind, who has regressed to once again lurking in boiler rooms and dark stairwells. When approached backstage for comment, he begins ranting about the Undertaker, who we haven't seen at this point for months, and how "its time to come home". He makes bad puns about how he "intends to rid Mankind of the Undertaker". After weeks and weeks of Foley's promos and no word from the Undertaker, some begin to assume that Taker is already gone. It isn't until the last Raw before WM that Mankind makes his final promo, claiming that the Undertaker has already "gone home" that the lights go out and the bell tolls. Undertaker vs. Mankind. Wrestlemania XXVIII. It won't matter who wins. Whether the streak lives or dies, both men officially retire thereafter.

Hes facing Triple h again no doubt. This time HBK will probably be the referee. Theres no way their ending Taker/HBK with that altercation they had where Triple h saved him. They have something big planned for the three of them.

But why would anyone want the same boring sh*t over and over? HBK faced Taker 2 years in a row. HHH has faced Taker twice. Why combine the two and make it so the last 4 of Taker's Wrestlemania have involved HBK & HHH?! In my opinion, HHH, HBK and Kane should all be avoided as those angles have been done to death. I am pushing for Taker/Mankind. Their unmatched, iconic rivalry is one that is deserving of an "end all" style Wrestlemania match. Foley deserves it. Mark deserves it. The fans deserve it. It would put asses in seats and the buy rate would be phenomenal! Pun definitely intended.
Now, having said that... I fear you may be right Hardcore.

I can see it being HHH but I really hope that they use Kane in the spot, it is only fitting.
