I have not been on the boards for a few weeks because of my business but thechon you hit one out of the park. Are you using spray paint to repaint the belts? The coating looks flawless. Did you spray the black Intercontinental white then yellow? Also, can you give us a head-on pic of the Warrior with both belts? Thanks!
THIS IS HOW THE FIGURE SHOULD HAVE BEEN RELEASED!

Looks awesome. Great job.
I got mine today too, and I hate that yellow belt. Yeah it was tough to get it to snap together for me too.

Thanks for the kind words! For the winged eagle, I just used a can of spray black primer. For the IC title, I used Games Workshop paints and basecoated a layer of white, followed by a few layers of yellow. The IC title is MUCH larger, I hope in the future the IC title is rereleased in the style of the winged eagle. Here's the pic you requested.

I still favor the black, as the yellow was never worn by the Warrior. Here's a quick update, a belt that was yellow. that looks so damn cool

Great stuff! Let me get this straight. For the IC you did not use spray paint just the Games Workshop (white/yellow) hand painted with a brush?
Also, I agree that the winged eagle is way too small. The strap should be larger as well. I do not remember the plate ever being even with the strap on the winged eagle. There was always a half inch to an inch of strap showing. A minor error but an error nonetheless.
I am definitely going to paint the belts for my loose Warrior whenever I receive it.
Also, Bill (not the boss) I have to give you an old school you f'ed up chant. Sorry!

You probably will not see mine until July or August. hahaha

you've just sold me on the warrior figure. that figure is amazing. the black belt looks great too, but i think im gonna keep it yellow just because its sort of unique and they'll release the black in the future without a doubt. the yellow IC belt looks very nice too. i just got my mr perfect today but i didn't have any yellow spray paint, so i figured i'd go with a white strap on the IC belt. i think it looks real cool. i would make a yellow one too but i lost the belt that came with my L4 warrior

That looks so much better with the strap painted black. It's a shame Mattel couldn't have just fixed it or changed it to a yellow IC.

First off you did a great job on that winged eagle belt. Secondly ,you did an even more impressive job on the yellow IC strap. Thirdly (and not directed at you in any way) I think Mattel really didn't quite hit the mark with the winged eagle medallion.I'm sorry to say it looks too wide or stretched out. And takes up too much of the strap. I think Jakks my have the better version honestly. But you certainly made it look better. It really makes the whole figure look sooo realistic. Which Mattel did already here. My favorite looking Warrior yet. Can't wait to own it.

like everyone said, you did an amazing job on the painting - how does it not crack with all the flexibility in the rubber?
Anyways, THIS is how Warrior should have been released. I'm all for creative freedom, but not when it's supposed to represent a significant moment in time and is altered because someone felt it would look cool.
By the way, I forgot who the WF member was, but he had the whole history of the Winged-Eagle timelined and there was indeed a yellow version. Vince just never released it to Warrior for any promos.
