I think Mattel really didn't quite hit the mark with the winged eagle medallion.I'm sorry to say it looks too wide or stretched out. And takes up too much of the strap. .jpg/186px-WWF_Championship_(Winged_Eagle).jpg) Notice those curved "side bars" beside the center plate? It looks like Mattel was the first to include those, but they added some extra plastic that connects them to the center plate. That's why it looks wider than it should. Aside from the globe detail being black instead of blue (which should be an easy fix), this is the best version on the the Winged Eagle belt yet, IMO. All it's missing is the WWF logo plate on the far right and the gold tip on the end, but you don't really notice those if you have it fastened around a figure's waist. Interesting fact: Warrior's version of the Winged Eagle actually said "Ultimate Warrior" under the WWF logo plate on the far right. I can't seem to find a picture right now, but maybe someone else can. |

Great figure you got yourself. While I understand that the yellow strap is inaccurate for the Winged Eagle, I think it looks pretty good and I plan on keeping it that way because it's obvious Mattel will give us a black strapped version in the future. However, your fix-up on it looks fantastic and makes the Warrior figure look a lot better. The yellow strap fix-up on the IC title is absolutely mind blowing. Great job man.

Nice!!! Got mine today as well, great figure. I love your belt fix-ups especially the yellow IC belt, looks much better than the original. Thanks for sharing and Enjoy.

Nice touch with the custom belts, awesome shots.
This Warrior has really grown on me, I wasn't overly impressed when we first saw it. But now that I received mine I can see how nice it is; the head is perfect in capturing the moment. The orange in his attire seems a bit too dark as I think it was more of a neon orange. That's nit picking though.
This L6 and the DM Warriors are must have for Warrior Fans and Legends collectors. (L4 isn't bad either but I thought it was more essential for that one to have a snarling expression much more so then the DM. Since it was a more serious warrior for the retirement match)

By the way, I forgot who the WF member was, but he had the whole history of the Winged-Eagle timelined and there was indeed a yellow version. Vince just never released it to Warrior for any promos. I would LOVE to see this post, if anyone can find it. Also, here's a pic of the Warrior's custom nameplate.  As far as the flexibility, I'm not sure, I've got the yellow belt snapped and draped over the Warrior's shoulder and it's not showing any signs of cracking. |

It's inaccurate but it's cool. It matches the figure and I get that they combined the belts, but why not release the Warrior with a yellow IC belt and a black winged eagle??
