I am in absolute utter shock over this. Definitley did NOT see this coming any time soon.
This is truly a black day in wrestling history. One of the worst ever.
Rest In Peace Macho Man, and thanks for every single amazing memory you've given me...from Wrestlemania 3 all the way to his Mattel figure announcement video last year.
Damn...this just really sucks.

Wow, such a huge shocker. I came on here seeing Macho Man's name on the headline thinking, "Another exclusive figure?", but then my heart skipped a beat as I saw the remainder of the topic name. This is really sad, especially since he just got re-married a while back, and that the WWE was finally opening it's doors for him. I remember reading a few weeks back that Lanny had said that Randy would be doing something crazy involving the WWE in the coming months. It sucks that this won't be happening anymore, not to mention the fact that he could of been inducted this year into the hall of fame, but now we won't have him anymore if he goes in next year. Definitely such a tragedy that he died this way and at this time. He was such a huge name in the 90s and really stood out with the gimmick, colorful attire, and of course, the famous catchphrase. RIP "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Your legacy will live on forever.

Jeff Jarrett: Just got a call w the news. RIP Randy. I met him when I was 11yrs old. He would always teach, correct, encourage, and compliment as my... Career progressed. I have NEVER forgotten the intricacies and attention to detail he taught me over the years. Randy always had a method to His madness. Randy is gone, but will never be forgotten. Thoughts and prayers are w the entire Poffo family. And, he may be the greatest card player the business has ever seen... When he lost, he was only setting you up to take more money from you!
UFC Fighter Shane Carwin: RIP Randy Macho Man Savage! We are going to SOOOOOOOOOO MISSSSS YOUUUUUUUU...... He was a great Entertainer!

Not funny, and totally un ingcalled for. I laughed .. and nobody else did. I wasn't a fan of wrestling when the man was in his prime ( i wasnt even born yet actually), but I understand that he has done alot for the wrestling industry. R.I.P Macho Man. |

I am completely Devistated by this, I cannot shed the tears in my eyes, I grew up with Savage being my favorite wrestler of all time. Every match he had was with percision, every match was a classic, he brought so much to pro wrestling, and was the inspiration for me to get in the ring. I will miss you randy, My heart goes out to your wife. your family.
I pray WWE does the right thing and gives him a ten bell salaute this monday on RAW and Induct him next year into the HOF
