R.I.P Macho Man.
Definitely one of my all-time favorites. I am so upset.
I feel lucky to have seen him wrestle live as a kid. WWF days. Macho King w/ Sherri vs. Dusty Rhodes w/ Sapphire.
Also, his niece was in my 1st grade class when I was a kid. I still have his autograph somewhere.
He was the man.

I feel so choked up right now. Growing up with the WWE Savage was always one of my top favorites. It's a damn shame the WWE never put him into the hall of fame as he totally deserves it. I hope they show some kind of tribute video on Raw and don't just make a quick mention of it.

Try the NEW Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey, it's too sweet to be sour. Call the shot, the Tower of Power. That might work. I haven't tried the JD Honey, but American Honey I like a lot, and might go with the Slim Jim flavor. I was just going to call it the Macho Madness, but that works too. Should have been obvious to me. GREAT name for it.

My wife just came up to tell me and she's not even a fan.... she said "another of your Wrestlers has died" I couldn't believe it when she said who it was. So so sad... he was always truly one of the greats and I thank him for WM4, 5, 7 & 8 memories. So tragic when it looked like a possibility he may appear in WWE again after recent work with the All Stars video game. Truly a sad day. RIP Macho Man Randy Savage - you will be missed.

As soon as I made my last post I decided to go out and get his DM figure. It was a figure I always wanted but didnt want to spend the money for it. Of course knowing scalpers $25 is going to be a lot cheaper then $150 so Macho has been added to my collection for a 3rd time. Still cant believe this.

All losses are terrible, but this is one of those that’s really hard to accept.

I don't know what to say... I am at a loss of words here... We lost an incredible legend here today, one of the greatest performers up there with Hulk Hogan. Dammit... DAMMIT... I did not expect my mom to wake me up giving me this news.. I'm crying some manly tears right now..
Rest in Peace Brotha. Mad respect for you always.

So stunned by this one... part of it's because he's one of the handful of guys I've considered my very favorite performers in wrestling, since I was a kid. I saw him live against Steamboat, Flair, Hogan, Jake Roberts, etc. and he brought the house down every time.
Randy Savage also became a pop culture icon to a far greater degree than he gets credit for. There are people all over my Facebook news feed that are not "wrestling fans" but they're still posting about the Macho Man. That says it all.

I wake up today to such terrible news. He was absolutely one of my favorite of all time. I'm so mad at WWE for not inducting him into the HOF in recent years, especially now. I'm happy to say I saw him wrestle 3 times during his WWF career in 1991 & 1992 at the old Scranton CYC & Philly Spectrum vs. Jake Roberts, Ric Flair & Razor Ramon.
Here's a video I always thought was great.
RIP Macho Man

Wow this is horrible. I didn't grow up in Macho's era's and never really paid that much attention to his work but I know the lasting impact he had on the whole of wrestling. RIP Macho Man.

this is sad on two levels , the first being that a great wrestler has died the second being that now we will never know the truth behind the rumor that he was Stephanie's first R.I.P king macho

May as well keep it in one thread:
Hulk Hogan via his Twitter account @hulkhogan4real "I'm completely devastated, after over 10 years of not talking with Randy, we finally started to talk and communicate. He had so much life in his eyes & in his spirit, I just pray that he's happy and in a better place and we miss him. We miss him a lot. I feel horrible about the ten years of having no communication. This was a tough one. I just pray that Randy's happy and in a better place and we miss him."
TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett via his Twitter @jeffjarretttna "Just got a call with the news. RIP Randy. I met him when I was 11yrs old. He would always teach, correct, encourage, and compliment as my career progressed. I have NEVER forgotten the intricacies and attention to detail he taught me over the years. Randy always had a method to his madness. Randy is gone, but will never be forgotten. Thoughts and prayers are w the entire Poffo family."
