Although there have been NUMEROUS wrestling deaths over the years, in my opinion, this is the worst wrestling related death since Owen Hart. I don't think this terrible news has even sunk in just yet...I am just so shocked, I just can't believe it...
I just don't even know what to say...A childhood icon from my youth passed away and I am just stunned....

Wow, ... was not expecting this at all..... i dont even know what to think or feel... its a real strange moment. Cant believe it. Really cant. Was really hoping to come in here and see a confirmed post of it being bullsh*t but the more i read the more sad it got.... i just cant take it in at the moment. Its gunna really hit me soon. Really hoping someone drops the elbow at over the limit and the black armbands are out for everyone. RIP Macho Man, Macho King, Macho Legend.... Randy Savage, and all time legend of wrestling.

This is out of nowhere. So shocked by this. Gutting that he never got his Hall of Fame Induction while he was still alive.

This is sad i read about it a couple hours ago and was SHOCKED!! what really stuns me is i believed that the macho man had total potential of appearing next year in the Hall Of Fame Ceremony, and tho i'm sure they will induct him anyways, would have been great to see the Elbow Dropping, Macho King return to the WWE one more time. His Figure is sure gonna sell out now i bet. Just goes to show that anything at anytime can happen, so never take life for granted and treat those close to you with the utmost respect and show them that they are loved. RIP MACHO MAN!

Absolutely tragic and heartbreaking. Stunned by this. I really thought it would just be a matter of time before he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. So sad. Rest in peace, Macho Man.

I speak on behalf of everyone involved with WWE at Mattel that we are absolutely devastated by this news. I was able to meet Randy last year when we filmed the reveal video for the San Diego Comic Con and I can truly say that he and Lynn were the most gracious hosts possible and the nicest people you could ever meet. One of the memories I will treasure for the rest of my life. Bill

My mom told me first thing when she picked me up from school. I feel so bad. He is one of wrestling's biggest stars ever, and now he's just gone. RIP Macho Man.

IMO Its bigger than all 3 combined. Randy Savage is one of the biggest names in wrestling history. You didn't have to watch wrestling to know who The Macho Man was.

Really hope theres a tribute at Over the Limit, I can understand it would be difficult to add one to Smackdown now but people should at least be wearing black armbands at OTL.
