the hype leading up to Cena/Rock next year
Just thinking about it, that is arguably going to be the biggest match of all time.
Do you think there will ever be a match that comes close to the hype surrounding that match.
I think the only match that would be bigger, would be Hogan/Cena but thats never going to happen

Well I'm sure there will be a next generation Cena who could wrestle Cena at Mania 38. Never know whos going to be big.
To me though Hogan/Rock was bigger then Rock/Cena.

I still think Austin/Hogan, Cena/Hogan and Taker/Sting COULD happen, IF they did they would be 3 honorable mentions
Austin/Rock WM17
Hogan/Andre WM3
Rock/Cena WM28
Shawn/Taker WM26
Hogan/Warrior WM6
Those 5 matches will go down as the biggest/greatest matches of all time

I think Rock/Hogan has to be considered bigger than Rock/Cena just because wrestling was so much bigger back then..

Sting vs Hogan at Starrcade has a much better hype
Rock vs Hogan as well
Hell I thought Savage vs Hogan was tremendous too.
Its hard to hype something when one guy is never around.

CM Punk vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin would destroy Cena/Rock EASILY.. And that's the truth... I'd lose my full glorious head of hair for that. But Hogan/Cena?! What the hell are some of you guys thinking? How old are some of you to even think that, that would still be possible?! Hogan is already older than most of your grand parents for one thing. Secondly, how would that be huge?! When such a large population of ACTUAL FANS would be PISSED because of Hogans poor business and refusing to lose to HBK at Summerslam, and etc etc etc?! |
