So reports over at Sherdog say Frank Mir has been hospitalized with a broken rib and Jaw.
Press conference won't load for me over at UFC.com, so yeah....

OK, so apparently Frank never broke his Jaw:
"His jaw isn't broken he already knew that but they made him go cuz he was complaining about his bite"

This event pleasantly surprised me. I didn't think it would be this good. Everyone put on a great performance

I thought the event was decent. Not the best and not the worst, kinda right in the middle. Just wish Rampage would've finished Hamill. I mean, if he couldn't finish Hamill, does anyone seriously believe he'll come anywhere close to finishing "Bones" Jones, if he gets that opportunity?? I have my doubts about that one, for sure.
I just don't know who at Light-Heavyweight poses a serious threat to "Bones" Jones. I mean, his striking is deadly. Just a vicious, deadly, accurate striker in every sense. And he's got a HUGE reach advantage over everyone else in that division and that will be the toughest thing for the rest of the contenders to deal with.
Anyway, back on topic here. I liked the choke-out from Tibau and especially the vicious Superman punch from Travis Browne. He folded Struve like an accordion. It was awesome.
Overall, I enjoyed the event. Can't wait until the next one.

to be fair, only one guy has ever finished hamill (franklin), and that was by a liver kick... though jones was on his way. hamills a tough kid, and his wrestling is good, it was just he was so afraid of getting knocked out that his takedowns were coming from about a half mile away, and they were lackluster. rampage still peppered him with a couple big shots, hamills just tough.

I want Rampage to knock Jones' head off... but it looks like the days of Rampage knocking people out are over.

This event wasn't great, but it wasn't horrendous. Fighters REALLY need to be penalized for stalling. And, DAMAGE really needs to be considered when judging a fight.

Brian Stann has looked so impressive over his past couple fights. I hope they give him the winner of the Leban/Wanderlei fight.

He'll get the winner of Belfort/Akiyama or the winner of Munoz/Maia.

Glad that Mir picked up the win. Sucks that Struve, Grove, Alves, and Torres all lost but I'm becoming a fan of Mighty Mouse... I didn't really care who won the main event though..
