For the first time in about 2 months I went looking for figures. I stopped by the Big Lots the other day after hearing all the buzz over Legends 2 for a discounted price. They only had 1 Funk, 1 Snuka, 1 Sheik, and 1 Rude. And to my dismay they were marked $13. I was hoping to find 2 of Funk at $8... an extra one for a future Flair custom/fix-up.
Tonight I went to Walmart to kill some time due to a power outage on our side of town. Of course, I had to check out the toy department... especially WWE. I was excited to see that they had some of Legends 5; 2 of Bam Bam, 1 Martel, and 1 Mr. Wonderful. As badly as I wanted to I couldn't buy any. They also had an endcap full of the WrestleMania figures... TONS of Melina, Punk, and Orton. I also saw a couple of Kane and Triple H. I don't collect Basic so I wasn't interested. But I know a lot of people have been - and still are - hunting Melina.
Athens isn't the best town for figure findings. But it's a college town so I guess I shouldn't expect much. I just thought I'd report just in case there are any nearby that are hunting. I've still got my eye out for Macho Man!
