What was your first purchased song from iTunes? And for what iPod?
Mine was The Darkness-One way ticket to hell-iPod mini blue-2005

The Darkness is great, nice pick.
Pretty sure mine was AM Conspiracy's Out of the Shallow End EP only because it wasn't available elsewhere. I'd much rather buy a physical CD than some digital version if I have the option.

Make Me Wanna Die - The Pretty Reckless earlier this year for my 120GB iPod Classic.
I've always preferred to have a physical copy of albums but buying digital singles is fine enough to me.

Grandma Vs. the Crusher by Reverend Billy C. Wirtz after watching the Lipstick and Dynamite documentary. Not sure which iPod it was. I just know it was one of the earlier ones.

I used to play San Andreas while listening to it on repeat. It was the only album I had on my 1st-gen iPod. Gosh I feel old.

And All that could Have Been - Nine Inch Nails.
So far it is the only song I have digitally bought from Itunes, and probably the only one I ever will.

I don't think I've ever used iTunes to buy music yet. Get all my music from cds/vinyl/direct digital downloads online. I do buy some games here and there, though. First one was Pac-man Championship Edition.

I honestly don't think i ever bought anything from there. I just buy the actual CDs i want instead. if you get them the week they release them they are pretty cheap.

I'm not one for buying songs over iTunes. I much rather hold the material in my hands, take singles for example. If I was to ever buy a single, I'd much rather buy the actual single and get the CD than download something. I know iTunes does these free downloads though, I'm always looking on there for stuff.
