www.usatoday.com/life/comics/2011-06-01-dc-comics-why-the-change_n.htmThought you should all see this. I for one am pissed as the entire library of current Batman titles has been awesome for the past few years. I will give these titles a try, but I am heavily thinking of dropping DC entirely for Marvel. I'll give them a chance. Who knows? Maybe it'll be a huge success.......

Haha, I was just about to post something about this. I'm both really interesting in this but also worried. I mean, this could be a really good way of making some of these characters more interesting and some of these books better, like there is already news of Morrison writing the new Superman book which should be amazing. But on the other hand this could turn out to be terrible, like what is going to happen to amazing books like Batman INC which were just getting started? And what about great characters like Damian Wayne? Can't wait for August to get my questions answered. also picture of the new Justice League:

See, I honestly wouldn't even mind if they did this in a year's time so that they could wrap up all the stories that they didn't finish.

I need a further explanation of this for me, I am incredibly intrigued. So far I think I'm pretty happy about this, because DC has made it such a pain in this ass for me to read their graphic novels of all my favorite characters in proper order.
Also, don't do it man. Marvel is so overrated it's not even funny. I'm begging you, even if you don't like the outcome of this, DC will always be the better brand. Please, PLEASE don't go over to the dark side.
DC > MARVEL

I just make it easy and read the good books from Marvel and DC.
It's intriguing, and probably necessary.
I am a little sad about Justice League rebooting. That has been one of my favorite series since they relaunched it again a few years ago.
I assume JSA gets rebooted too? That too has been incredible.
Cyborg? Blah. I assume they are going to use him in the Martian Manhunter type role? I'd actually rather they use Mr. Terriffic instead.
I do like that they are FINALLY going to start having same day digital comics available. Although my wallet may not like it so much.

I am vehemently against this, but as long as Batman Inc can finish I'll be happy.
And Grant Morrison is writing Superman again. So there's that.

I'm heartbroken if it means all the great Batman titles I've been reading over the past year+ are going to be irrelevant. Damian has become such a great character, I'm loving the two Batmen...well, multiple now, so-to-speak...thankfully Batman is the only title I'm invested in as far as DC goes but it sucks if they're completely going back to square one.

Definitely one of my least favorite DC Characters. They should've just stuck to Martian Manhunter, I really like that character a lot. And just because of this reboot, doesn't mean the older stories will be irrelevant unless you want them to be. I may be one of the few that is really happy about this, mainly due to the point I made earlier about DC making it very difficult for the fans to get the proper reading order of their graphic novels and some. But I have faith in DC, and I'm sure when it's all said and done, others will share my opinion.

Scott Snyder was saying on his twitter that we shouldn't worry, it won't make his Detective work moot, and that we should be excited. So that's reassuring. It's funny because Grant's Batman has been all about 'everything has happened', he believes everything is continuity and he's opened up the world of Batman so much and now DC is doing the complete opposite with the whole company. If new readers want to jump in, do the work and jump in. It isn't hard. You have trades, back issues and the internet at your disposal. DC could have just used that Earth One line they created to do this like Marvel's Ultimate line. No matter which way you slice it, Morrison's work will be effected by this, and that sucks.

It'll start off hot and easy to follow like Marvel's Ultimate Universe did. In 5 years it will be full of min-series pointless crossovers and attempts to move away from the traditional characters and then slowly DC will work towards a Crisis like event to de-clutter things.

No Batman of Green Lantern? WTF!?! Oh well, I'll definitely be picking up JL, WW, AM, Flash, GA, HM, and DCUP. May eventually get FS, MT, and CA. I'll wait and see how JLI is before I decide if I want that or not.

I mean, they're not going to name all 50 books that are getting rebooted at once.
I'll probably end up checking out Wonder Woman, I've never liked her character but I can't pass up on a book written by Azzarello.

Honestly, to me the biggest news out of this is same day digital comics. As an Ipad owner, comics are AMAZING on there. I haven't bought many, because they are always WAY behind on what is available. I keep hoping DC will offer an unlimited subscription type of format. Say for $30 a month, you get access to all titles in digital format. Something along those lines. I would gladly pay it.

In that case I'm sure BM and GL (sorry for all the abbreviations, I'm just feeling kinda lazy today, lol) are among those 50 as well as Superman. I'm also hoping that Martian Manhunter, Catwoman, Shazam/Captain Marvel, Spectre and Black Canary are among them as well.
