I wish that there would be a fire in the Jakks factory and the ONLY thing that is destroyed is the mold they use to make those God damn short kicker snow boots.
Except for Sting the last few years.....man, I really don't think anybody in the HISTORY OF THE BUSINESS has ever worn boots like that.
I mean Christ almighty.....Jakks has been making deluxe style wrestling figures since like 2005.....in all of that time they couldn't create a new part? None?
That's the one thing I'll give Mattel credit for.....they will make a mold of a part that is specific to a character that they would NEVER be able to use on ANYBODY else. The Mark Henry boots were BRILLIANT by Mattel....he's not a main character and they'll never be able to use them on ANYBODY else....but Mattel went the extra mile and made his boots instead of using the closest thing they had.
It's a shame too because I like Jakks figures and think they are way more playable than Mattel, but Jakks needs to make some more parts and some more character specific parts.
And the more inexcusable thing is when they have tall kickers and refuse to use them. RVD needs to have tall kickers. I don't know why this is such a freakin' problem for Jakks.

Kudos to Jakks here. I'm not a fan, but Samoa Joe and Abyss look great. Seems to be some sort of correlation? Ah that's right: EXCLUSIVE PARTS. More of this and I'd be on the wagon.
Also, I tip my hat to that Raven figure. Perhaps the coolest thing they've put out with this license. I'm not mad about the hair, simply because I don't like that style in real life. Similarly, I'd have gone wild if they used his Sandman t-shirt (I know they couldn't, but I ADORE The Sandman comics). Either way, if/when I get money, I will probably buy Raven. maybe the Joe too.

Will definitely get Raven when I find one. The jacket was a nice touch that I didn't expect but just adds to the awesomeness. I would definitely take that belt but I'm probably not going to buy Rob Terry just to have it. Samoa Joe looks like a buy for me too but I want to see it in person first. Don't really care for the rest and I don't want any of those 2packs.

FINALLY  RVD, Raven, Angelina Love & Samoa Joe will be mine ! CTL 4 : RVD is very nice, I love his attire, but Sting is really bad... The same head than the DI 1 and approximately same pant... Kevin Nash is very nice, and its a surprise because he's with WWE now like said TNAAA... Erci Young look good too  Abyss is very nice, but its the same figure than the DI 4 (except the colours its real  )... I don't like very much Hogan, I think that the logo on is torso is too top... I'll ad that is a very simple figure, the DI 4 is better... DI 5 : Angelina Love is incredible, the head scan is perfect !  Rob Terry is very nice, and the belt look awesome ! Raven is incredible too, a very great figure for any big fan of wrestling Samoa Joe is very nice, I prefer him than the DI 1 ^^ Jeff Hardy is horrible, its real that he sucks in pink attire... |

That Raven came out pretty sweet. Have to give credit to Jakks and as a bonus we get a leather jacket. Will have to pick him up when I see him and probably Angelina Love. Might get Terry but I only want the belt.

Finally these are in-stock. It only took them several months after DI4 came out. Pretty good sets overall. I definitely want to get Raven and Samoa Joe. I'll probably pick up Rob Terry for the belt, but that's pretty much it.

Love the red on robs belt, good supprise. was expecting jakks to cheap out and have it black. Also loving ravens jacket, MUCH more reason for me to get it  considdering i want 2 (moc and loose) and i despise spending that much on a figure.  also joe looks different than his previous release, is he in scale this time  |

Chris Masters Zack RyderEdge before he switched to the Rated R kickpads Test when he was on WWECW. I remember the flap part used to open up during matches, and he ended up having to tape them down like Kane did with his similar boots. The CSDA HBKs used this boot mold appropriately. IMO, they're a closer fit to what Michaels wore than the tall kickpads on the RA HBKs. |
