I hope John Cena's ok. I may not be a fan of his as a wrestler, but as a person, I respect the hell out of him for busting his ass for the company. I hope Vince gives him a break because of this, he deserves it. agree 100%. not a of his character but he is the face of the wwe. they better get him rested up and make the necessary sacrifices now or the big wrestlemania main event is gone. |

I hope he is ok but if he is injured that could lead to big things.
Mid Carders will be able to get a push into the main event, When John Morrison comes back he would probably be the face of Raw until Cena came back. Guys like Cm Punk, Alberto Del Rio, Jack Swagger and Drew Mcintyre could all get either pushed into the main event scene or guys already in the main event scene like Punk and Del Rio could get shots at the title. Punk deserves a title run, He's given some of the best matches the past few years and he has great mic skills aswell.

I'm not a fan of Cena but WWE can sure use that guy right now like many have said before no Cena no big ppv line up. They should stick to CM Punk and Mysterio thats really all they got on Raw. I never thought i would see the day where WWE is left up to Mysterio, Punk, Orton, Del Rio, and The Miz.

It was reported in Meltzer's newsletter originally. Anyway, I hope Cena gets better. Really sucks. I have read editorials by people calling for rotating time off for wrestlers or some sort of off season so these guys and gals can rest up, but it seems to me that it falls on deaf ears on promoters and, sadly, fans, at least some fans.
I can't believe there are fans on here happy to see the guy hurt. That is terrible, IMO.
Anyone saying Edge does not have the "it" factor and is a "boring" champion is talking a lot of nonsense, just like these talking heads on ESPN talking about a certain member of the Miami Heat. It is just silly. He was an awesome champion. Just because (for the most part) he didn't tell poopy jokes doesn't mean he was boring.
I happen to enjoy ORton as champion as well. I still think Christian should still be champion though

Sucks that hes hurt. WHile i am not a Cena fan by stretch its still bad. Maybe Creative will finally understand that he is not superman and start booking him that way going foward. Wait nope cuz that neck thing he came right back and won the rumble. Poor guy. Im sure Cena the person has a hard time dealing with the Cena sucks chants deep down inside. Honestly cant happen to a nicer guy. He is a soldier who does what he is told by his bosses and although i cant stand Cena the character i admire Cena the human being.

This really sucks, weather you like him or not, WWE needs Cena. I hope he gets better before the year ends and we still get next years Wrestlemania main event.
Also, since the match was originally announced, I had a gut feeling the Rock or Cena would get injured sometime before next years WM and I guess i was right

I've been thinking about it and Raw is gonna really need some faces if Cena does take some time off. Rey, Show, and maybe Kofi would be the top faces on the show. Hopefully Morrison will be back soon...

Why does everyone think that every mid carder is going to get a push? At the most, we might get one new face in the main event scene to play the top babyface...but really, they could easily push Rey Mysterio into that role. The foundation of the WWE will not change if Cena's gone for a few months.

I'm no John Cena fan but it will be a huge loss to the WWE without the guy especially at this time with so many others gone, Maybe a break would do his career good though by making the fans miss him then do the big comeback thing in time to face the Rock at Wrestlemania.

its funny how people on here get so mad when some voices their opinion so some people are happy Cena is hurt i am one of them i dont like the guy i dont care how hard he works for the company so Cena bust his ass to line Vinces already fat pockets with more money who cares now maybe WWE will realize the need to push and elevate more talent when something like this happens
