Yes. At least, he would like to see it happen if Austin can go. Hulk Hogan, during an interview with ESPN, had the following to say about one of the only big dream matches left that fans haven't (and would want) to see:
"Well, if there is that one last huge match that really, really meant something to the fans, that would have to be against "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. I can see him already making appearances back on TV and he's already starting to get full of himself. I heard him say for a while that his back and his neck were too messed up to wrestle, but from I've been seeing lately, I think he's getting geared up to do something and I'd like to be a part of it."
Hulk Hogan also talked about Randy Savage during the interview.
------------------------
@jrsbbq Jim Ross There was a day when @steveaustinbsr vs Hogan would've been HUGE. That days long gone. Ain't happening folks. ------------------------

Sure, Austin may be able to go but that doesn't mean Hogan can. Punk or Miz vs Austin would be a much better match for him.

I'm not one of these people who idolizes Punk by any means, but his segment with Austin on RAW was absolutely gold and I think it would make a great feud.
Hogan vs Austin would sell itself on name value. It would be huge - no matter what anyone says. I'm not sure of the situation over in TNA, but considering Hogan seemingly has a huge input in it's running, I don't think it'll ever happen.

Punk vs Austin is a dream feud imo. It has nothing to do with if you like Punk or Austin or hate them both, those two gimmicks were just meant to feud.
Hogan vs Austin, really, come on. Hogan can't seriously be so naive as to believe that at 57 that he is going to just jump back over and headline Mania with Austin. Austin having another match is hardly a sure-thing, although it does feel like he has gotten that itch again, but he would surely serve in that veterans role putting a young star over. Hogan putting over Austin or Austin putting over Hogan doesn't do anything for either guy. It may draw some money still but at this point I see it being more of a hinder to each man's Legacy rather than something that adds to it, at least in my eyes.

The build up and hype for this match would be awesome , the match itself would be terrible.

Hogan is a scuzzbucket. Who is "the face" of another company and can't get over the idea of working for his competition?! Make up your mind!

No thanks. Already had to watch Hogan go over HBK and Orton for no good reason, only to not repay the favor. Oh, and I'm still pissed at him for deadweighting that chokeslam from Undertaker at Judgement Day 2002. ing dick.

JR's right. The significance of the match would be far, far lower than if it had happened years ago. And honestly, do we really need to see Hogan come back to bury one more huge WWE name?
I didn't think so.
I would, however, love to see Austin have one more match, and have it with Punk.

I mean, I'd watch it if it happend, and probably still mark out. But both guys are shells of themselves, and aside from the nostalgia orgy, it would be pretty bad.
I would rather see Austin put over Punk at a big match if he were going to come back, or even fight Cena or Orton. Hell, I'd rather see Austin/Rock again than Austin/Hogan at this point.

Hogan/Austin and Cena/Rock at Wrestlemania would, on paper, be so awesome to think about and the nostalgia feeling and the crowd being so into the match like Rock/Hogan at X8 would help a lot and make it awesome to watch but the standard of wrestling would be awful. Not sure how good Hogan is at taking bumps and one stunner would kills his already dead knees. Punk/Austin would be great to watch and could be the thing that keeps Punk in WWE for a while longer and it would be a Wrestlamania style match.
I would just be unsure as to how they would do a 2 part main event as well as a championship/2 championship matches in one night if Hogan/Austin was signed. Although it would be one awesome Wrestlemania.

I agree with most in that, while the match would be huge on paper, it would probably be an absolute disaster in the ring. As others have said, I've seen Hogan go over enough people that he shouldn't have beaten, I don't care to see one more. He can stay in TNA where I don't have to see him on a weekly basis.
If Austin is going to have one more match, let it be against Punk. Their gimmicks alone make them a perfect pair.

Man, that would be a mark out moment for me. Impossible to be a good match, though.
