RIP to Perro Aguayo Jr. The man is a legend. So sorry to see him go. I still am confused as to what happened. Does anyone know? He was wrestling in a tag match last night with Manix against Rey Mysteryo Jr. and Tigre Uno. Rey hit him with a dropkick and he landed on the ropes wrong and was knocked out. Rey was setting up for a double 619 on him and Manik and he faked it until he saw Aguayo all lifeless hanging on the ropes. Then Rey, Manik and Tigre checked on him. Perro was not responsive as Rey and the other wrestlers halted the action. Then Konnan came to the ring and tried to revive him but the match stopped and Perro Jr. was taken to the hospital. Hours later, the son of Perro Aguayo had died. It's sad to see this happen to a young luchador. I saw him wrestle every Tuesday in AAA on Galavision 15 years ago. They said he suffered from head trauma or whiplash when he fell on the ropes. Perro was one of the promotion's hottest heels today, my prayers go out to his father and his family. Sad isn't it?

I was able to watch the full Perro Aguayo Jr. incident match, it appears that Rey's drop kick didn't initially cause the severe whiplash. Perro moves his leg after being drop kicked, then Manik falls into the ropes too and that's when Perro's body goes limp. A news site reporting on the incident says AAA uses steel ropes, anybody know if that's true?

I discovered this on YouTube. What a nice tribute Lucha Underground gave. I felt so bad seeing Sexy Star and Fenix break down the way they did. It shows how much el Hijo del Perro Aguayo meant to many of them.

Just watched the April 15 eps. of Lucha Underground. If you haven't seen it, def check it out. Great show. It's pretty easy to find the whole episode online.

Is it true that LU and the Young Bucks are negotiating? If so I'd probably cry.

You think Lucha Underground is going under? Why's that? the plan was always to go on a hiatus until after the summer, if they don't start taping in the fall then I think we all know where they're heading.

You think Lucha Underground is going under? Why's that? Each episode costs hundreds of thousands of dollars and the ad revenue doesn't come close to that. It's ratings will have to increase dramatically if the network, let alone Lucha Underground, wants to survive.

Would be a huge loss if they don't come back for a second season. Best promotion out there at the moment in my opinion.
