Got caught up on cmll on dvr. Last weeks mask vs mask match between la mascara and averno was awesome. Hated that halfway through there was a promo for a live show showing an unmasked averno. Spoiler alert anyone. Also, this weeks tag championship match was good. Glad diamante azule and atlantis won the belts. The debut of the new mistico was exciting. That huracanrana to the outside of the ring was amazing.

I saw the hair vs. hair match between El Terrible and Rush. It was a great match, but what amazed me the most is how much heat Rush got after he won. I think he's turning on Marco and Maximo and turn rudo. The reason why I don't think that all three of them will turn rudo like they wanted is because I just can't see Maximo as a rudo. Rush got so much heat after his lucha de apuestas, the fans threw trash at Rush and they had to escort him from ringside at the heat he got, which normally the winner stays to watch the loser get his head shaved.

Sorry I haven't been on the boards in a while. One thing that did stand out in that time was the tournament that Diamante Azul won. I really liked the tournament and loved the unique belt he won. Any info on it would be welcome

When CMLL announced this tournament, I pretty knew that Diamante Azul was going to win since they're pushing him as a new Blue Demon.

Chris Masters is expected to work some dates in CMLL in February. Dr. Wagner Jr. has been working without a contract with AAA for months and it sounds like he wants out. He said he would like to wrestle in the main event of the 80th Anniversary Show for CMLL in September of next year. He also wants a mask vs. mask match with L.A. Park. Ivelisse Velez is the newest Perra del Mal as she joins the Perros del Mal promotion. www.luchaworld.com/?p=20743

Well right now, he's injured with a shoulder injury, but from the matches I've seen of his, he's pretty good. He still uses his finisher from when he was Dragon Lee.

www.luchaworld.com/?p=21879A new CMLL World Light Heavyweight Champion has been crowned (after Rush vacated the title to compete against El Terrible for the World Heavyweight Title) as Rey Escorpion defeated Volador Jr last night on the Tuesday Arena Mexico show. On January 28 in the Arena Puebla, the wrestler they've been hyping for weeks on CMLL TV, Thunder, debuted in the main event as he teamed up with La Mascara and Rush, defeating El Terrible, Averno & Mephisto. More results on tonight's Lucha Report on luchaworld.com

So is this thunder character they've been promoting supposed to be Chris Masters? I don't think he's the Thunder character. I know I read on luchaworld.com that Chris Masters was supposed to do a tour in CMLL, but if you see the promos, the guy talks in an Australian type accent (just guessing the accent here) and Masters doesn't have much of an accent.

Dr. Wagner Jr. is thinking about returning to CMLL, but he has some legal issues to fix with AAA before he could pick a return date. I really hope he returns to CMLL that way he can return to TV since CMLL is the only lucha libre promotion on Galavision right now.

Man I hope AAA gets back on TV here in the states. I was just starting to really get into it before they yanked it off like a year and a half ago. I still watch CMLL but I usually just have it on in the backgrouund while I'm doing other stuff. There are just too many guys on the roster that looks too similar to each other. I can't keep track of them and it seems like the same show every week.
If only I was fluent in spanish....
