not if they were leftovers Still doesn't make sense though well if they just wanted to get rid of surplus stock and bagged them for this particular thing it would make sense. Rather then them releasing the new figures that could be sold regularly. |

I have that Big Bossman, and he had a nightstick. I think I may hhave the answer...  This is a photo I have just taken from my Summerslam 1992 programme, and those are the figures on offer in the mail order catalog, so my theory is these are just regular figures, but bought in a mail order catalogue and so they came in plastic bags instead of on card. Now thats not a fact, its' just my thoughts on why these figures are in a bag. You're pretty much bang on there mate. It was basically a promotion on several different items and all they gave away were 'left-over' figure stocks. They did one through the catalogue above, one at the event and there was another on the silver vision videos. I know the Undertakers Gravest Hits vid gave you a free coffin, but only to the first 250 who returned the stamps thingy. The figures were similar. It wasn't a big deal and they were old stock. Only difference is the plastic bag, which actually matches the information typed on my UK Hogan bagged figures exactly. Actually......back then.... I bought a lot of my Hasbro through that catalog..... and they were all carded., not bagged. |

I don't think it was a Hasbro coffin. Was probably just a small coffin of sorts.

They did all sorts of crappy free gifts here in the UK. I don't know if the coffin actually fitted the figures so to speak as I never bothered to send off for it in the end. |

I've never heard of a coffin too. Has anyone got a pictue of it. I remember a UK cereal company having UK mailaways. I thought it was Golden Grahams that did it  |

It was NOT a hasbro coffin - it was a small promo one which I also think was offered through WWF magazine catalogue at the time.
There is 100% NO Hasbro coffin!

if it's the same coffin as I think it is, it was for the WWF line of Pogs. I bought one from WWF magazine thinking it was for figures, and was really disappoined when none of the figures I had would fit in it
