I actually think it would be a fantastic angle if he were to win the title, and disappear with it for a while. that would be amazing!

They talked about unifying the titles before, y'know they could let Punk walk with the belt and make the World Champion a multi-brand star. Id actually really like that.

Guys! Isn't it obvious? Punk WILL win the title, but lose it to Mr. Money In The Bank, when Mr. MiTB pulls a Kane, and cashes in within an hour of winning the case! Heres how: -Punk wins WWE Title Match (Punk happy, Chicago Fans happy) -Mr. MiTB cashes in. Beats Punk. (WWE Happy for getting title back) -Since CM Punk left, he cant get rematch, meaning that Mr. MiTB then defends against Cena at Summerslam, which leads me to believe that ADR will win MiTB for Raw. Screw that Del Rio Sucks

UM oK so they wont renew his contrace be because of his name? No, CM Punk won't renew his contract because WWE wants him to sign over the rights to the name CM Punk. Punk refuses to sign it over, thus the contract dispute.

It's really too bad that he'll be leaving. WWE's losing one hell of a talent.

I highly doubt Punk will go to ROH or anywhere else for that matter. He's leaving to get away from the business and recharge his batteries most likely.
I didn't realize the PPV is in Chicago. I highly doubt he'll win, but this kind of reminds me of Survivor Series 1997 where Bret/ Punk is supposed to be the heel in the feud when he'll wind up being the babyface since the main event will be in his hometown and everyone knows he's leaving.
I really don't know what the WWE is going to do with all these people leaving. Nobody cares about Del Rio, Miz, Mark Henry, R-Truth, etc. main eventing every PPV. Things are really falling apart fast here, losing Punk will be a gigantic blow.

I'll be going to the PPV in July so it'll be an honor watching him in his potential final wwe match, He is one of my favorites for sure and the only reason i still watch wwe today..with Jericho being gone and him possibly leaving i don't even know if i wan't to continue watching... I am beyond excited for his match at MITB in Chicago! I think he's going to win and stick around though. Something will happen. Or hes going to lose and take a few month break. I would love to see him win there though, it would be huge. I think the crowd would be cheering him too much though for a heel win. WWE might not be okay with that.

He should threat WWE and say he wont put over Cena. And that he will turn over the title on Raw the next night and leave. Screw Job 2011

It might be a work. Wouldn't Punk get in trouble for giving away the outcome for money in the bank?

Can somebody explain why they want him to change his name? He's had it forever...why is it just now a problem?

I'll miss Punk when he leaves. I've got a ton of respect for the guy for being the first indy guy to make it to the top. I want him to stay, but if he's happy walking away and is in good health and good money wise, I'm happy for him.

CM Punk is hot as right now, it's going to be terrible without him.

I hope he signs his ROH contract on the WWE title. That would be very cool, a throwback to Sign of Dishonor from 2005. ringofhonor.wikia.com/wiki/Sign_of_DishonorPunk wins... and loses it to whoever the MITB winner is. I could certainly see that happening, sorta like when he cashed in on Jeff Hardy.
